.....I was very fortunate to snag an extra today. I would have bought more than two but that is all there was at my particular shop. I really want this to go to another diehard and not some reseller on ebay. I do not want this to be monetary so lets make some trades. I guess posters would work or Chicago EV 1 tix :) From a poster perspective I would trade it for:

*recently released Ames EV Perth s/n

*recently released Klausen Perth s/n

...feel free to throw other stuff out there though of course

.....let me know, thanks for looking and hope I can get this to someone who really wants it and doesn't have the independent stores around...really cool event by the way. Please PM

not really applicable....some people mentioned they wanted it, and would give some gear up...price doesn't come in to play

    I don't see that being a fair trade, I can't imagine the 7" costing more than $15.

Put it this way the most expensive 7" at the store I was at today was £8.99.

  • I think price does matter. I think what you are trying to do is no different than selling tix above face value.

I f you were truly trying to help out a fan you would sell it for cost plus shipping for those not close to a record shop.

....and here we go with people mad they don't have it, so they take it out on those who do...something viral that often happens on this board. Its a limited release like a poster...therefore the trade is more than fair. Otherwise all posters would sell for $30....c'mon folks

I'm not mad that I don't have it; my store didn't stock it. I just think what your doing is wrong. You say you want it to go to a diehard fan and not on ebay but your trying to rip someone off on here. If you didn't want the single why buy it in the first place. What your doing is no better than a ticket tout.

I could care less about record store day. I made no attempt to get the 45 or any record for that matter.

In my opinion what you are doing is no different than snatching tickets to a show and trying to flip them.

Like i said previously If you really were a helpful fan you would sell the second 45 for cost + shipping. I dont know why you just dont use ebay to sell it.

they are going for 29.99 on ebay already so I think trading a poster would be a bad deal.

I have no problem with someone flipping an extra. My problem is with the original poster implying that he is a "helpful fan".

i bought the harder to find peter gabriel 7" last year for a fan on here who couldn't get one. i sold it to him for what i paid plus shipping. why can't you do that if you really want it to go to someone who may have got shut out?

I' sorry, but If someone trades someone else a poster for a readily available 7" single, then its their own fault. These arent THAT limited, and the originals dont sell too highly on ebay either.
