Yes you are, and I like it!
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I killed some time this afternoon mapping out how easy it would be to drive from Boston to Ottawa to Montreal to Quebec and back. Bring on many shows! Please...

I have to apply to the Canadian government to enter because they dont let you across the border with a DUI. I have to fill out some rehabilitation forms & pay fees. Has anybody ever done this? It seems like a real pain in the ass.

I found out the hard way in 2001 when I planned a trip to Montreal with my friends. Well we got to the border, after 3 1/2 hrs from Massachusetts. And they asked me if I had ever been in front of a judge. Well not thinking much about it, I said yes. They asked me for what, I said for a DUI. So then they told us to turn around because I couldnt enter because of the DUI!! :o:o:o My friends were so pissed.   Im surprised they didnt leave me there. I would have! Haha

I was gonna take the chance in 2009 when pearl Jam played Toronto and just try to enter. But I thought better of it because I remembered that they told me that I am in the system now as trying to enter, and if I tried again, I would get arrested. This type of thing ever happened to anybody?

On my way up to Vancouver to see Ed on his first tour I was pulled out of the car for the same reason. We went inside waited a while. I was then told I was free to enter since it had been over ten years since my DUI. I had another friend of mine have to pay a couple hundred dollars to enter the country because of his recent DUI. Not sure why they told you to turn around.

was turned around also and have to do the same bullshit to get in. fuck it, go somewhere else. it's a headache, expensive, and even after applying for the "pardon" they can deny you without refund.

    whoop here it is:

    enjoy

    and EDIT: http://www.pbc-clcc.gc.ca/prdons/pardoninstr-eng.pdf
    yay!! you will love this.

Thanks. But yea, it really seems like a pain in the ass to go through and pay for this ordeal. I cant be mad at Canada, I did this to myself. But it sucks because I have missed out on around 10 PJ shows, maybe more, because of the DUI. I want to see them in Canada so bad too.

Why not just call this little tour what it really is... the PJ20 tour. Movie is debuting in Toronto right? There should be a few northeast/north west opportunities for people who cant make it to Canada.

I'm hoping it's Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City. Or Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto then to the west. But i'm crossing fingers a Maritime show or 2 who will happen. Mudhoney has never played in Atlantic Canada before. Maybe a first this Fall? Please say yes, along with Pearl Jam on the bill!

All this talk of skipping PJ20 makes me laugh... you don't even know what you are skipping! You maybe in for a very very difficult choice.......

As for me, I'll sit here in the other side of the pond waiting for them to finish with you lot and come over here and really rock!

Agreed all the ants in peoples pants about PJ20 is funny. I'm going to PJ20 regardless it's a 20th anny show i can goto toronto again but there will never be a PJ20 show again.

Besides i don't care about the town i want to goto the show party with people rock out go back to my room crash and leave.
    My butt itches!

If they do another Kitchener, London, Hamilton run, who needs PJ 20? hehehehe
If they return to Kitchener I will lose my shit. London would be awesome too but Kitchener was just so much more of a small town feel and so intimate...
That Kitchener show was ridiculous. The arena was very small(8,000 tops?). It was a Sunday night and the town was dead.
Long Road the Opener on the 4 year anniversary of 9/11.
I was 12th row, dead center. Janet from SK walked right past me on the way to the side doors. Tremendous show.

Please come back to Kitchener! I highly doubt it, but seeing them here at the Aud. would be awesome, London would be next on the wishlist. Toronto will do but driving into the pit for a show requires taking the afternoon off just to get there and get parked which sucks.

Just knowing that this is going down (via Mudhoney's message) has made my year, hell, seeing Mudhoney open for PJ on their 20th anniversary tour is icing on the anniversary cake!
The last PJ show I went to was the best PJ show ever, that is until they come around again of course

Imagine if this was like a late April fools joke by Mudhoney. After all they do have that twisted type of sense of humor.
