PJ Connections

I met a hot women today at Target in West Hollywood with a Pearl Jam Perth T-shirt on. I saw this woman a few times in the store but it wasn't until we ended up in the checkout line together that I noticed the shirt which sparked a conversation. She was awesome (hot) and we talked about Pearl Jam shows. It seemed like forever but in reality was only a few minutes in a checkout line. I love this band but but I needed someone to Save Me. I kept telling myself Just Breathe but I just felt Alive.

In the end I was just happy to have had PJ connection with a beautiful fan and it makes me sad I have to miss Eddie's solo tour because the dream can only survive with hope. Keep hope Alive!

    It's beautiful with all of the support from the PJ community. I will try to answer a couple of questions.
    She is American (although an Aussie accent is worth it's weight in PJ bootlegs). The Perth PJ t-shirt she wore was from a vaconcert (my term, a vacation and concert mash-up). I love vaconcerts but don't do enough of them. This led to my commenting on the shirt and inquiring if the vision of loveliness wearing it was a fan. When I found out she had traveled down under to see our favorite band I was instantly impressed and beyond smitten. I informed her that I too was a fan, trying not to sound too excited about connecting with a musical kindred spirit. After getting briefly lost in thought (no doubt an insta-dream of a PJ vaconcert with her) I recovered in time to tell her the farthest (or is it furthest) I had traveled to see PJ was Toronto ('06).

    Unexpectedly the smile on my face was probably not because of my current conversation but my new insta-dream which was actually an insta-flashback because that was my best PJ tour year (Toronto, LA, San Diego, & San Francisco). She seemed impressed and said she had not yet "done the Canada thing". I did not get a phone number because there was already a lot to process in our 5 minute (tops) meeting (and, to be honest, I'm not THAT guy).

    If I have the opportunity to communicate anything to the beautiful woman who on 4/13/11 was at the West Hollywood Target in the checkout lane with the lovely PJ Perth t-shirt it would be this: For the next PJ tour Do the Canada thing! Do the California thing! And, of course, Do the Evolution! Rock that sh*t! @kwazet

    Uh, no, but I can't dismiss your question as preposterous because I suppose in a 5 minute meeting anything was possible. But that would probably be more Playboy or Penthouse territory.
