Pearl Jam to South America 2011

Hey folks,

Here in Chile we have been reading some articles about a possible upcoming tour to South America which would include concerts in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. What do you think? Do we have chances of seeing Pearl Jam again after 6 years?

These rumors have been going on and on since last year. Ed got married last year and one rumor stated that that was the reason for the latin tour to be delayed until 2011.

Gossard commented on this as well in an interview posted here last year. He said probably a latin tour would be made sometime next year (this year).

A lot of promoters were spitting out pearl jam shows to be made all around south america, and I think this meant PJ tour management were sniffing around. I believe this is true, but it did not come to happen. Only the parties mentioned know why.

Promoters and reports from peru, chile, argentina, and a couple of others, I think colombia as well, all stated the tour was posponed for 2011. And add Gossard saying plans for south america were scheduled for 2011, and you got a lot of expectactions for south america.....

I'm really crossing my fingers for this to happen. I can't imagine them forgetting about Chile. We've been faithfully waiting for their second coming and we'd be very disappointed if they came to South America leaving my country out of the tour.
