A little question for all of you who live in USA, how much does a cd cost?
If you go to a music store, and buy an album like... Ten, how much does it cost? and what about singles, double albums, and box sets?
Thanks

CD's usually go for between $10-15. Singles usually run between $3-5. Double albums can run between $15-25 depending on the artist and how long it's been out. Box sets are tricky. I bought the Nirvana box set brand new when it first came out and paid $40. a few years ago I bought the Led Zeppelin studio recordings box set and it set me back $120. So it is a broad range for box sets. hope this helped.

I buy most of my CDs from amazon.com or eBay. Way cheaper!

It really is, especially if you take advantage of the free shipping option. I try to buy at my local independent stores though. If it's just a matter of a few bucks, it's worth it to me. :)

No, actually it's the opposite. The aussie dollar has dropped considerably in the last 3 months against the US dollar. It was at 92c to the dollar when i went home in August, and i heard it's in the 60's now?

I believe I bought Ten for (ironically) around $10, although most of mine are $12 or $13. I shop mainly at Best Buy, since there aren't many record stores close to me.
