    Whether or not it'll be Greyscale is beyond me!
    The poster on TSIS has a greyscale thumbnail but the entire poster is greyscale so I don't really know if that's an accurate representation. :P

    the "EDDIE VEDDER" font (not on underwater image but one the one where ed is holding uke) is the same as on EMEK's poster. Which is to be the cover for the Aus DVD.

    Really? Cos i thought that that font looked a bit tacky and presumed it would only be used as a tour poster. Never thought it'd be a dvd cover art also! =P

    If that really is the cover art I'll try to like it. It surely has something, but I'm not quite sure about that one right now ... The music is what counts, right ;)

    Right! I didn't like the Backspacer cover but ofcourse the music is great. Thought the Longing to Belong pic was good.

    i think the backspacer artwork doesn't help the album. i don't know why but i hear that album and i think of cartoons. i want angst. give me skeletons and a long road ;)

    Yeah, I think a cover does set the mood for an album. Just think if Bleach had a pink cover.

    saw that first thing this morning..

    i dunno ed

    i would have liked it a lot better if it was a silhouette of himself at the desk

    i get the old typewriter

    i get the ocean

    i get he underside of the wave and the turbulence

    i get a lot of it

    but...

    its gonna take some getting used to

    different..i'll give it that

    i sure hope he added those beautiful pix from the recent hawaiin(?) photoshoot in the liner :D

    OH WAIT

    it doesn't really matter

    cuz its ED and its his voice and his lyrics and his talent

    all packed inside there...so ..... it's all good :D

    i'm sure i'll grow fond of that album cover as it holds the music that speaks to me

    in that case

    i suppose it fits him well.....other than the silhouette

    the rest of it seems to have a lot of relevance

    maybe the water man does too....but still kinda creepy to me

    its the inside that counts in everything tho :D

    Maybe the cover signifies what eddie feels when he writes lyrics on his type writer? inside the ocean trying to reach sea level to surf?

    I personally like it

    Definitely a striking image, definitely relates to him

    I loved the Longing to Belong picture too however, and those other ones he did. So hopefully we'll see them pop up somewhere

    I personally hated the backspacer artwork, but I love the album so it doesn't really matter does it?
