If not on No Code, maybe on a Rarites disc like Lost Dogs...0

LUKIN doesn't fit on any PJ album, including No Code... should've been a C-side!
J/k, I actually think it's a sweet song, just wish it were a little more crisp live...
"Stinkin' Grease and Stinkin' Grease and Stinkin' Grease and Bone!!"
Fits perfectly on No Code. Wouldn't have been out of place on Vitalogy IMO.
BTW, the slow version rocks!0 -

I wouldn't miss it. Never understand the overwhelming love it gets around here. It's one of the most boring songs in their catalog.0

I really dig Lukin. It's one of PJ's songs that I just bypassed for the longest time, then later would play over and over and over. It's just another snapshot in PJ/Ed's time, and I can respect it's message more now. I totally dig the fast driving rift too. It's a good thing the song's as short as it is.
If I had to envision it on another album, probably Vitalogy. I thought Vs, but the message, sound, and fit sound more like the madness of Vitalogy. However, it's a necessary part of No Code, because it's the one hard crazy song on that album, and I couldn't see No Code being a PJ album without it.0 -

I may be mistaken, but I believe this song was written during the Vitalogy sessions, but did not make the album, then subsequently made No Code...which would make sense since it fits with the theme of Vitalogy much better. I think it is the same deal with Habit. Both of these songs were featured routinely in shows in the early-mid '95 tours, and it worked.
However, I would generally prefer that they stay in No Code considering the mental break they provide from the intensive introspection that goes on throughout No Code. They are a piece to the puzzle that makes No Code my favorite album by anyone ever.0 -
There's a reason why No Code is the album it is. Lukin fits, just like it should.
And who could hate this song?0
