Hey LP guys, thoughts on this remake...

Again, browsing the bay, found this 59 LP "remake". Thoughts on this?

    appears to be an asian counterfeit.... not a ghostbuilt (yet still counterfeit) by a custom builder like the guy is trying to imply indirectly.

    i.e. not worth the money....

    treble horn doesn't look right. otherwise it's an ok copy from xx feet away. the white serial number is the giveaway that it's likely a chinese guitar.

    I would definitely get one of the new Gibson 60's tributes and probably one of the new anniverary epiphone les pauls before I'd buy this.

    the treble horn was the first thing i noticed. looks funky for sure. i would steer clear of this one unless i was able to play it beforehand and it blew me away...

    Definitely doesn't look the part, but that doesn't mean it's not a great guitar.

    possibly. but it was sitting at $710US when I saw the auction. agile's are ok guitars too (which this basically is at the level of i would guess) and cost $300+/-.

    so still not worth the money.
