I love ten club, we all love ten club blah blah

I'm tired of the sugar coating. I'm a huge pearl jam fan, which is why i have a 10c membership, and Ive been to 23 shows.

With that said, its Monday night and im still waiting on my deluxe box set of vs/vitalogy.

I ordered DAY 1. The day it was announced, i paid the full price (including 17.50 shipping)

And here i am, waking up tomorrow which is one week from the release date, and i still don't have my purchase.

If this were any sort of market, besides the 10c, it would receive 1 out of 10 stars.

I could have ordered from amazon Friday and got it Monday. Its been 2 months and 2 days since i ordered this. I saw posts of people in BRAZIL getting these on and before street date.

I want a 20% discount. I want that portion of my ordered refunded to my credit card.

Is that unreasonable?

Please share your feelings.

Edit - I did contact 10c to no avail, and, i also wanted to state that i got the 1st round of shipping conformation emails last Sunday (8 days ago)

    did you contact the 10c? They might offer some explanation. Other than that, that sucks man. Understand your mad, because it is justified, but maybe there is a reason for the delay. Nevertheless, Brazil IS pretty far away from Texas :lol: :roll:

    It is disappointing to pay all that money and not get it on time, but mine did come today, so all is forgotten. :D Sorry you haven't gotten yours yet.

    yknow, they don't have to have a 10club. They could just stop releasing stuff, throw us to the wolves. My heart skips a beat everytime I get a 10c email. It' s just, worth it.

    In the whole scheme of things, it has only been a week since the release. Is it really that big of a deal? So you might not get it for a couple days. It's just the way things go. I got mine today, but I wouldn't have been surprised if I didn't. I think maybe if a couple weeks went by, I'd start getting pissed.

    I made the mistake of ordering LOXL from that shit company Universal. It was literally months after the release until I got mine. And with multiple emails, the second one that I ordered the day off the sale, never came. Which was also another month after I finally got the first one. And then, I was refunded. This was something to be pissed about.

    heck i got mine 4 days after the release date and i was still pissed i didnt get it Tuesday..but o well its here and well...sitting on my shelf lol ....dont sweat it man..youll get it...but i agree it sucks that pearl jams own fansite cant get the crap to us by the release date..i mean that should be like the number one priority..but o well...im going the amazon route next time thats for sure unless its some kind of tenclub only deal

    Sure, that makes sense. Eliminate a business that charges fans $20 for ticket buying privlidges and an mp3 or $40 for a vinyl and $0.50 tshirt and in addition to that, stop making merchandise and music....just stop everything. Because one fan is rightfully disappointed he didn't receive his order yet. :lol:

    They don't have to be a ten club - that's true. that also has nothing to do with me PRE ORDERING an album.

    Its only been 1 week - Ok, that's true, but i bought and paid for this two months ago. Any company that is going to accept money for a pre order item should have said item to you the day of release, or, before. not after.

    the post office sucks - that's also true. but i guarantee you if you bought something for me, and i charged you 17.50 shipping that first you would be mad at the price, second, you would expect a shipping number, and third, you should also expect it to arrive on time. if that didnt happen, then the customer has every right to be upset.

    i will forget in three months - this is true but also not true. i wont be mad in 3 months, but i wont order anything else from 10c (and Ive bought alot of stuff from here)

    and no, i don't think 10c should be shut down... these reply's are ridiculous!

    I am upset about the time of the shipping, no shipping number, and the fact that they have had 9 weeks to get my order to me on time. I don't want any more excuses, i want a 20% discount. I challenge anyone in a position of power here to say i (and anyone else who bought day 1 and still haven't received it) don't deserve that for shitty customer service and shipping delays.

    i guarantee any other online outlet would rightfully do so.

    And im not trying to be rude or start a fight here, just speaking honestly and openly on the forum i pay to write on.

    I got my confirmation email last Sunday. In that email it said my super deluxe would arrive in 5-8 business days. Last Monday through Saturday was 6 days. Mine just came on day seven(today). I know the ten club said they would have it to us near the release date but, since you seem to have been in the ten club for quite a while, you should be used to this kind of thing. ;) Just think, it will be well worth the wait when you open that big ass box it comes in.

    Us international folks haven't heard boo from 10C and have, after numerous attempts via multiple emails from a lot of pissed off fans, finally pieced together something resembling a coherent answer from Sony about the delay (and I am being generous here). BUT the thing is we're still waiting, no SDE, no download link. Just quietly waiting. If this was meant to to be an April Fool's joke, it's probably gone over a BIT too well.

    When the fanclub of your favourite band treats membership paying fans like this, it takes the fan experience to a whole new level, that's all I will say.
