East Rutherford 6/1/06 and Ed Newark 8/7/08?? Did anyone here see those shows..?
I had fan club seats for 6/1/06 East Rutherford NJ and that semi acoustic sit down set of Wasted reprise, Man of the Hour, Come Back, Footsteps, Once and Alive was amazing! The feeling of being close with other diehard fans and hearing footsteps was a great feeling.
I saw 4 pearl jam shows this summer and being hit with surprise of Ed's little tour made this an amazing summer. Obviously I am an Eddie fan, but after that show in Newark I realized how talented He is. A friend talked me into Newark instead of DC because He manages at the NJPAC. I got backstage right after the show and Ed must have jet right after Hard Sun. As I walked out the back his bus was starting up and I realized I was prob. only 2 minutes shy of meeting him!
Any thoughts on these shows anyone??

Yeah, I was at both shows. But didn't have 10c tixs for either. :(
They were both amazing. I really liked the personal/stories about the ED shows.

No Your facts are correct... I was kinda of rushing the story.
I didnt leave until about an hour after the show ended. I was also being somewhat joking about the "jetting" part. My friend Mike manages the resturants there. As soon as I met up with him He took the four of us backstage. Ed was nowhere to be found. The "greenroom" area in which he used only had some roadies in it. We then went outside and as we came down the ramp a bunch of fans that were under trees and on grass islands in the parking lot started to come towards us. Mike a short guy who was wearing a black suit had asked them if he could help them and they kinda went back to where they were. My mom and coisin moved closer and to take a picture of the bus, we waited a bit then decided to leave. if he didnt leave yet, then he was in a very private part of the building that even management didnt know. I coulda swore the bus that Mike said was his was started, but i really didnt get that close.It was definately a cool experience. Thats the detailed story.
He text me like 45 mins after I left to tell me that he still never ran into him and thought he left.
