So I just started listening to Pearl Jam about a week and a half ago and have fallen in love with their music! They are really good. I now have all of their studio albums except for Ten. I found a used music store locally and traded in stuff I never listen to for a bunch of their albums. They are the first group where I like their Live versions much better than the studio stuff.

Man of the Hour is easily my favorite song. All righty, that's it for now!

    Now that's awesome to hear!

You gotta go out and get Ten though. You probably know it's their biggest and most popular album (aside from being their debut). Some people here don't like to praise it because of it's popularity but man is it full of energy! No bad songs on that one...
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!

Thanks everybody! I am looking forward to spending tons of time here. When I get a little extra cash I will definitely join the Ten club.

Vitalogy is my favorite album so far and then Vs. right behind. There are a bunch of songs that I really like. Off the top of my head: Spin the Black Circle, Small Town, Given to Fly, Daughter, Go, Even Flow and Yellow Ledbetter! I love hearing even flow live. Those extended guitar parts are unbelievable.

I discovered the bootlegs site last night and am ridiculously hooked. Filling the Ipod already, just wish I could download the individual songs all at once instead of one song by one. It is cool to hear their old concerts from my hometown in NY.

I am now in Phoenix and will definitely go to a concert whenever they come!

I also want to thank Nick McIlwain from Preston and Steve on Philly's WMMR for talking about them all the time and helping decide to start listening to them. Little plug for their amazing show and podcast which you can get on ITunes. They are HILARIOUS.

But again thanks for welcoming me to your group!

    Yeah 24 years old.

Used to be a country only guy until about 2 or 3 years ago. Got to college and then my music tastes expanded. Got introduced to the Philly rock station which has turned me on to a few different things.

So I know this will explode into a big conversation, but are there any songs or live concerts that I MUST listen to? B/C I listened to a Camden NJ and Albany NY show and it was pretty similar. So didn't feel too much different.

    All righty thanks everybody!

  • I have a question about Ten Club....If I become a member right now do i still get the same priveledges as people who have been members forever? How does it work with getting tickets new members vs old members? Isn't it the longer you have been a member the more priority you get with tickets? Do new members still have a good chance as anyone else to get good tickets? Thank you guys
