10C ticketing is bull!

I understand that not everyone can get tickets due to the demand, but what gets me frustrated is that they were in my cart and were removed after 5 minutes while I was attempting to go through the checkout process. The only reason the checkout process took me 5 minutes was because the site could not handle the traffic. This has been a problem for years. Please fix it!

There were 700 users at the time of the sale, and not all users bought for the same show. So how many tickets did they have..100 per show? RIPOFF!!
I'm here, but not much longer.

My wife and I both have accounts - we were both trying for Seattle tix - neither one could get in. Saw a buy button 3 times - each time the tix were 'tempoararily out of stock' before the next page loaded.

Same experience in 09..08...why am I paying fan club dues exactly?

100 may not be far off. 3,000 seat theatres. 10c gets 10%, sold in pairs....about 150 people per show.

And because of this I would have been okay if I clicked on buy and i got a message saying it was sold out. But instead, the tickets were "removed from my cart." If 10C knows their checkout process is going to be slow, why not increase the time that tickets can be in your cart for these sales?

The tease is what pisses people off, and why is it such a problem to secure tix for fans that are willing to pay whatever?

I'm with you guys...tried for 2 HOURS to get Detroit tickets. I had them in my cart, after trying for 35 minutes, then tried to check out for 30+ minutes. Then my cart is empty cuz time "expired"?!? It fucking expired because I kept getting the "site is busy" bullshit and "you ripped my face off" bullshit! I am so pissed off! This was my first time trying to buy through 10club...and maybe my last?
I LOVE PJ and Eddie especially...for 20 years now, but this experience has left me exhausted!
Gonna rise up, find my direction magnetically...

Tried for Chicago, clicked buy I waited for my payment information and was kicked off the site. Total bummer, I try not to miss any shows in my area. I hope he adds a show or I hope to get tix for the 20th anniversarry bash.

100% agree with everyone here. Totaly BS. I believe once you have it in your cart it yours, I was robbed 4 times the club owes me something. Lonnie
  • Bunk. Same ol', same ol'. Questioning why I've been a member so long when it's always just a tease. I get the BUY button five times for it to be temporarily sold out. Then why did I get the BUY button? A few years ago I had tickets in my cart and then...BOOM, no tickets. This is the only thing that disappoints me with Pearl Jam. I know we all can't go (although, we'd easily sell out without needing anyone for the "public"), but...

Maybe Ed will add a second Seattle show (so we can all go through this bunk again). Have to wait for the digital download, I guess...

I agree - had the same situation, its so frustrated.......
Why it can stay in my basket if i have it in my basket ???
This is how it works at the Brad Klausen site: "If you login in first, this guarantees that whatever
posters you add to your cart will remain there for 3 days until you
check out or remove them. That means once they are in your cart,
they will stay there for 3 days even if you don't checkout that day. "

The reality is though that for 365 days and 18 hours a year, the site runs to perfection. It's not feasible for the fanclub to pay money for a server that has to handle a few hours of extra traffic a year, especially since people do manage to get through anyway and the shows sellout incredible quickly regardless of the difficulty the servers pose. Until sales completely destroy the site for hours and no one manages to get tickets, this is the way it's going to go. The alternative is a random lottery for tickets which most complained about too if I remember correctly.

quit the club. that'll show them. when membership sales start to plumment, they'll get a new server.

No. I thought the lottery last time around was a great idea!

I don't think the club "owes" us anything, but its still BS when this happens. Actually, no. If they are going to have presales, they owe its customers to have a presale system that can actually handle the traffic.

it really comes down to how fast your internet is and if other people are on your router. I live in bum fuck south dakota and I always seem to score tickets. I scored two pairs today with the help my gfs account.

maybe i get lucky because there arent a billion people using the same internet service as me.
