Ten Club: Some love for upstate NY please!
Boston, Hartford, Providence, etc, that entire area is smaller than NY state and they get multiple concerts every tour. Then you throw in NYC which is still closer to Hartford and Boston than it is to Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, etc. The fans in that part of the country are very lucky.
PJ, all I'm asking is a little more love for the rest of NY state. You have many people who love you up here!! 3 times in Buffalo in 20 years!! C'mon MAN!

Are you really complaining about having to travel in your own fuckin state to go to a show? Seriously? Try living in parts of the country or the world for that matter, that never gets a show. NY gets at least one show every year - for every tour whether it be PJ, Ed solo, Brad, Tres Mts, the list goes on and onwww.RLMcDaniel.com

Toronto is a frequent stop and its only an hour. Cleveland is 3 hours which is reasonable, Detroit 3, Pittsburgh 4, Montreal/Ottawa just over 4.0

DUDE! are you really throwing F-bombs at me? All I'm asking for is a little equity for the rest of the state. NYC is 7 hours away. Hartford is 6. The list goes on. Canadian shows are closer to me than shows in, as you so nicely framed it, my own fuckin state.0 -
I understand your frustration. I'm in Alabama last show 2003.0

Yeah, that hurts. We had them in Buffalo last year and I was thrilled about that. I think Rochester had them once in like '92. All I'm asking is that they spread the wealth a little more to places other than NYC. I understand why any band would want to go to NYC, but there is more to a state than its largest city. In our case, it's easier to see a show in another country, which is a little weird.
I'm not looking for arguments. I'm just asking them to spread the love.0 -

I thought the OP was joking!
It's like the poster in some other thread who was complaining about the "northern half" of California never getting shows. She'd only have to drive a couple of hours to Oaklad/San Francisco. But that's not close ENOUGH.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

SPAC 2000
Buffalo 03
Albany 06
Buffalo 2010
Those were all fantastic shows that happened in upstate NY.
I'd love to get another Pearl Jam show at SPAC. That place kicks ass.
I feel for the Southern folk the most, though. Well, that and the fans from Alaska. :?"FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250 -

I know fantastic shows have happened up here. I never said they didn't. Buffalo '03 remains my favorite ever (that I've attended). But they happen in NE much, much more often, and you can barely call Boston - Providence a long drive for those fans.
I agree that SPAC deserves another show sometime.0 -
get a life and stop whining. typical upstate baby. no one here wants to hear your complaints !!!!0
