the unpredictability of this tournament makes it one of the best in all sports, if not the best.

    this final four is incredible.

I love that we get a "underdog/ small school" vs the big guy in VCU or Butler vs UCONN or Kentucky. Hoping VCU or Butler wins it all.

mid-majors against two lying cheating scumbag coaches. love it. and vcu winning is so awesome to shut those f'rs on ESPN up. Sadly those losers like Hubert Davis and Jay Bilas will never admit they were wrong.

More than 5.9 million brackets were filled out for ESPN.com's Tournament Challenge, but exactly two went 4-for-4 in picking Final Four teams.

Those are some tremendous odds those 2 people broke. Almost as difficult as beating the odds to the lottery. You either have to be from one of those underdog schools to get ALL 4 correctly or be tremendously lucky.

    1) convicted of recruiting violations who sold out all of his assistant coaches to keep his job
    2) kept convicted criminals marcus williams and aj price on this team and in the program after they were caught stealing laptops
    3) defiant when questionned about his salary and trying to keep it quiet as state was broke (he is a state employee)

he is a great coach, but like many at that level he is a shady character

and jaegs explain to me how i am bitter? i hate nova yes but it ain't because i'm bitter or jealous. Can I call you bitter because you hate the New York Giants? (and you still can't admit i was right about the kitty cats)

    1) HE didn't commit any violations and HE took the blame for it. Nate Miles didn't even put on the jersey and was kicked out of the university in October of his freshman year. The chairman of the infractions committee did say he should be aware of what's going on but obviously can't be aware of every single thing that is going on in recruiting. He didn't pull a Bruce Pearl and have players go over his home for a BBQ.
    2) Both were suspended and AJ Price didn't play the season because he was still recovering from the bleeding in his brain.
    3) Who asks a question about someone's salary during a press conference?

    3) Who asks a question about someone's salary during a press conference?

    1) he is the head coach and it's his responsibility and so very nice to sell out his assistant coaches. and yeah i'm sure he didn't know his ex-manager was paying players and steering them to Uconn

    2) should they have been allowed to stay in school and play for that infraction? questionnable at best. i'm you'd be fine with your child living in the same dorm as thieves.

    3) so the highest paid state employee salary shoudn't be public knowledge or in question when a state is in financial trouble? i agree that reporter who brought it up at the time was a douche bag but it was a legitimate question and instead of answering it he proceeded to act like a punk and like he was above being questionned on it.

as i said above great coach but shady character a la Calipari.

I think most college hoops coaches are shady. They all seem used car salesman-ish.

roy williams is the worst. he just reeks of douche. I'm so glad they lost yesterday

agree, especially at the highest levels. the AAU circuit is a cesspool in a lot of places and they handle many of the top level players. shady for sure.

i'm not talking stats... just where they rate on the douche scale... OFF THE CHARTS

but as you point out... at the end of the day all that matters is the wins

Oh, I never associated Izzo with some of the seedy elements of the sport, but maybe I'm not paying attention to the douche scale.
