I'm trying to be happy about row Q Balcony Boston II, I should be happy, 'cuz i'm in. I am happy, I am happy, i am happy...I live here but have never been to the Opera House, and I did get 10c seats for night. I am awfully f'ing lucking...
Thank you Thank you Thank you
I tried for 15 more minutes to get another single to help a 10c pal out, but nothing...I'd keep trying if I were you all until they say sold out - since some dumb@$$ may dump them out of their cart.

You should totally be happy, it will be great! At MSG I I had the very last row in the 400s with the VIP suites overhanging right at my eye level and it was still totally awesome.

LOL - or should I say COL (cry)- Mezz row A are fantastic seats. What were you hoping for? It's clear you can't get good close orchestra seats for anything on TM, 10c or no 10c... but between Mezz A and anywhere further than at least 1/2way back on the orchestra at the Opera House, give me Mezz.

I set my standards impossibly high (Orchestra first 10 rows) so that way I knew I probably wasn't going to go. We got tix through 10C for night I and that's all we can honestly afford right now (barring the use of a CC, which I didn't want to have to resort to). I think it was the right thing for us to do. I really, really hope that someone on here scored those seats and they didn't end up in the hands of an agency!

But hey thanks for making me feel so much better about throwing those seats back guys! ;)

I tried for DC both through the 10c and through ticketmaster. The ticket brokers are having a field day with Eddies solo run....

They should be sending Ed a big fat thank you card..seriously.

I like how Ticketmaster links you to a ticket broker at the same time they tell you no tickets are available.

Something fishy there. Is TM scalping their own tickets?

Spoke to one guy selling tix, he lives in DC-does not know who EV is and like thousands of others, just know they can make a quick $200 on scalping. Now we know why they were sold out in 2 minutes when all these F.Ckin slimeballs are buying tix.

Ya no kidding. Now I have some A-hole on craigslist telling me to f'off for only offering him double face value on his seats.

I am highly irritated now! :(

No biggie, we still have Boston I :)
wow... mezzanine row A is better than at least half the orchestra.

no lie. I was refreshing every second from 12:58 and 'find tickets' came up at exactly 1:00. I had 2 browsers open and I got in on one and then it was all over. Sheer dumb luck.

really, it's surprising they went fast? Small venues, what maybe 2k seats, tenclub get's 10% (maybe), then the venue has a few for their premier memebers, pull some for charities, radio giveaways, other, and ticketmaster probably had 1200 tix per show, and scalpers are very organized, so we probably only have a realistic chance at 600 tickets. Depressing, but not surprising by any means.

Sorry, not trying to make you feel bad, hadn't read your subsequent posts when I posted that, but damn I hope those tix went to a fan and not Sully the Scalper.
When you get in for night 1, look up at the first row of the mezzanine and you'll see why people are shocked you threw those back. You literally need to be in the first 10 rows of Orchestra for better seats.

I am beyond pissed...I had two tickets to Friday in Boston...went to fill out the billing section and ticketmonster kept giving me some freaking error...and of course, LOST THE TICKETS b/c of whatever issue that certain page was having!!! I've ordered many tickets from that stupid site and never had this problem! Lost out on tickets in the pre-sale and again today...it's a BAD day...but congrats to those who were able to get tix in this amazingly difficult sale. Oh Eddie, how I will miss seeing you...

think about how pissed Eddie would be...I mean I'm sure he knows and understands this happens, but my god this sucks. Drives me crazy that I'm competing w/people who don't even want to SEE this show!!! Sure it's business, but it's shady business!

It would make me feel 100% better if someone on here posted that they got those tix. I've been scanning the Boston threads to see if anyone did.

And, NO I won't do that. Then I'll realize the mistake I made and be depressed all day Saturday. I'll just keep looking straight ahead and enjoy the show I do have :)

You're right I probably would have. We're facing the fact that we most likely will have to put my husbands car to rest this week and buy a new one so that was a BIG factor in this decision. One show is enough for us, I even made a spreadsheet of all the West coast dates, pivot table and all to prove it to myself :)

Sounds like the string of strikeouts I had for the solo west coast shows. It took me a while to realize it was more about the size of the venues than my horrible luck.

I am not buying the small venue explaination. Five minutes after ticketmaster opened, there were tickets available on Stubhub & Ebay for the Chicago shows. As well as available 2 minutes after on ticketfast. Scalpers may have more resources, but they can not work that fast.

    FYI

Check back a fw days before the shows you plan on going to and try over and over again. Tickets get released. From what I hear it is because of credit card failures but my theory is that they did not sell on the broker sites so they go back to Ticketmaster to sell to the public again at face.

    Shady business indeed.

When The Who played at HOB in Chicago in 99 ticket brokers had buses of homeless people brought in to get bracelets and buy tickets for them. You had to be there in person to buy tickets and the place had an interesting smell. I saw it first hand. The broker was in the corner with a list of numbers that he had on bracelets for the homeless. When a number was called he would cross it off his list the person with that bracelet would come and get an envelope with $600 cash and would be escorted to the booth to purchase the tickets before they would get paid maybe $20 for their work.

How bout that as shady. I was lucky enough to get tickets and was offered $1000 as I turned around with them. Coudl have been a quick $400 profit but was a show that was priceless in my eyes. Glad I was able to see Thunder Fingers before he passed.

I will check back before the show, but a part of me wants to thumb my nose at the whole idea of giving a non-PJ fan double face to see a band I have followed to Holland to see.

got through to ticketmaster and asked for tickets to NYC 2 and was told it was sold out, i then asked what time it was on her system, "1:01".........I know these are small venues but even those don't sell out in 1 minute......
