Make sure your arse is in your seat when he goes on ... you're going to be AMAZED !!! I was at LA1 and could not believe what I saw/heard. That's why he is on the east coast tour.

I don't know. I wouldn't say his songs are "good" in the pop/rock sense. His show is just interesting as hell.

Download his album or check out his Letterman appearance ... his lyrics are interesting ... and the looping in his shows are amazing. I was thinking "wTF?" .. and then the whole song emerged.

Letterman Show - "Second Chance" on YouTube. One hour of that rocks prior to ED.

I really like his "i'll be lightning" album and he has a live album on itunes called "live in spaceland". I'd suggest that one, you'll be blown away to think that one person is making all the music you hear, it sounds like a full band.

I watch his set for all three west coast shows I went to, one of the best opening acts I've seen.

i love the way ed described the way liam plays...ed surmised that liam, who can seemingly play 6 instruments at pnce ;), must be great with the ladies because liam can be on second and third base with a girl....to further make the point ed demonstrated this to us in the audience :D:D

don't miss liam and eliza jane :)

At the end of his set I was satisfied and then ED came on. Liam is Neil Finn's son and Ed brought Liam out several times to play guitar and drums ... including a Crowded House song ... what a great LA night ... and only a few weeks until NY1. I'm seeing Seether at AC HOB on 7/23 and I have no interest in that show whatsoever ... ED RULES.

Check out Liam's former band Betchadupa at http://www.myspace.com/betchadupa. Their music is amazing. Songs will start streaming immediately -- five or so in my experience -- as long as you keep your browser open.

Obviously nothing compares to Ed or Pearl Jam but i still think you will enjoy seether. Ive seen them live twice and loved both shows. The only bad thing is that they are touring with finger 11 who i can't stand. I especially enjoyed the pantera and nirvana covers that they did.

Saw him twice. First night was amazed, then I couldn't wait to see him again. Almost as much anticipation for Vedder, almost. But his live show doesn't even compare to his album, live show being way better, louder, powerful and fucking cool. He's a real nice kid too, hung out after his set and signed autographs and talked to fans.

liam finn was wonderful at berkley! i have heard so much about this talentd guy lately. i would go to see him again, even if ed and EJ barnes weren't going to be there. by the way, liam had 2 cd's available for sale at the concerts and was gracious enough to sign and sign. amiable guy. cd's are both good . but the live one has EJ signing backup. the other one seems to be missing something w/o here. either way; Bravo!!

I flew to LA to see Ed in April and was SO glad I got there early to see Liam. I'll do the same on Monday.

Similarly, I had Seether tix at the AC HOB this past Wednesday and got there for Sick Puppies and Finger Eleven. Both were pretty darn good bringing much more energy to the evening than Seether.

Never again will I miss a "warm-up" band if Ed is concerned. Add MMJ to my list of bands wtinessed. Who would have thought they were that good?

Liam=what an incredibly talented young man. Do Not miss him. And remember, I think someone else said it here, once he's done playing, go to the lobby area of whatever theater you are at and purchase his CD. He's is usually out there making small talk and being super effing cool. We took a bunch of goofy pictures with him in LA and he was so nice with us nuts!
Enjoy his show! You're gonna love it!
