Honestly i really don't care where they decide to hold PJ20. Whether it be Alpine, Gorge or Chicago I will do my best to be there. My major concern is going to be how the 10C handles the ticket situation. I hope that the band and management are able to make certain arrangements with the venue/TM/LN to ensure that all members who want to go to the show will be able to. Crap is going to hit the fan if the servers crash and people don't get tickets for the festival.

On a side note has there been any mention of possibly streaming the show on PJ radio so those who can't attend can follow along at home & work? Just a thought...

  • Preferably I would like it to be less than 10 hours of driving time away from me, but my number one concern is seating/availability of tickets. I really don't want to not have reserved seats since I am most likley going to this one alone, hence if I want a good spot, I have to get there early and never leave. That would not be any fun. Number two, I have the distinct feeling that alot of people will get shut out of this festival. Look at how many people get shutout for MSG, and I think this will be even more people getting shut out.

6 hr drive to see them in Toronto EVERY time
8 hrs to see them in Buffalo
10 hrs to see them in Thunder Bay
11 hrs to see them in Detroit
14 hrs to see them in Hartford
16 hrs to see them in Boston

I don't care how far I've got to drive.
    It's been 20 years of magic and I wouldn't miss it !

I hear ya man... I'm sick of all the threads with people arguing where the show will be and that Wisconsin is better than the East Coast. All i know is that I, like many of you others here, fucking love this band and have for the past twenty years. Lets just all be happy that our favorite band is still around and making music for us. Thank You PJ.

Hope to see ya there Black73, I'll buy you a beer

If you want a lawn seat plenty will be available and you won't need to get them here. The seated area will be the 10 Club seats.

No one will get shut out who wants to go, if you want a lawn seat I'm sure there will be plenty. Plus I'm sure there will be other shows that follow. Not PJ20, but regular PJ shows that people may not have to travel as far to see. Once the seated area is sold out, the interest will dwindle. People won't want to pay that kind of money to be 200 yards away from the stage and not see a thing.
