Bethel Woods in early fall.... not humid... beautiful catskill mountains.... site of the original Woodstock festival!

    PJ20 @ BETHEL! ............ 8-)

This works for me, my in-laws have a summer house about 5 miles from there.
Of course it won't happen, but I can have fun with the fantasy for about 23 minutes or so :)

I think the festival should be held in Omaha, NE. That way I don't have to drivea very long distance or fly or stay in a hotel thus saving me alot of money. But I somehow doubt that it will be held here although it is probably more likely to be here than the west coast.

I live in NY but I have family in Omaha. When this whole shindig was just a twinkle in it's mommy's eye I thought Omaha actually had a shot since they said they wanted to put it in the middle of the country.

It doesn't get more middle than Omaha, Nebraska

It wouldn't be a bad location for everyone, it is reachable by driving for alot of people, except people who live on the coasts maybe, that would be quite a distance to traverse by land. But, Denver, Chicago, Milawaukee, Indy, St. Louis, Kansas City all are close enough to drive from. That's a pretty big radius. It would be nice to not have to travel to go see a concert for once, I have traveled for every PJ concert that I have been to since Noblesville '03.

Plus, you want high capacity? How about we mow down a couple of corn fields? You've got land as far as the eye can see in Nebraska.

I live in Cali and this just comes off as selfish and inconsiderate/ignorant to the rest of this great country. Maybe you dont travel much...

    waaaah, I'm ignorant.

btw, people from california don't call it "Cali." you must have transplanted like the rest of boston, ny, et. al.

anyways, you're all very emotionally overwhelmed, so here's bottom line: So or No Cal is the best place for shows because of the weather.

I almost forgot, the crowds don't suck here, e. coast citizen; we just get a million times more shows (no matter the music), so our lives don't revolve around a couple highlights per year and a couple series of sporting events, what have you. There's just more to do here and it's beautiful in the West. I understand, and even feel bad, that you're locked indoors for many months of the year, but it's not my fault.

    Haha! Thanks for proving point.

Been in San Luis Obispo, Cali from 1980-present day. Did transplant when I was 2.

If this is all just about you being 14 and not being able to travel to the festival if its not in your State as your parents would never let you go...
