Mine also shipped yesterday. I am following it on the UPS tracking. It has departed Miami this morning on it's way to Brazil. Its scheduled to be delivered by tomorrow (03/24) End of Day.

I paid the USD165,00 for the box. (Which I think it's fair for the amount of stuff in it)
I paid USD71,00 for shipping. (Which I will also think it's fair since it weights like 10lbs and I might get it tomorrow)

I am afraid I will be charged another USD165,00 for Import Fee and Duties from my country. (Which I do not believe it's fair at all. It doesn't sell here in Brazil, imported is the only way. Why do I have to pay an abusive 70% import taxes that includes shipping?)

Another consideration on the shipping rate. If they deliver it to local Brazil Post Office then the USD71,00 is not fair at all. Brazil Post Office SUCKS big time and I will only see my boxset in July.
This is the first time something is sent to me prior the release date. FIRST TIME EVER. So if I have to pay a premium for it. I don't mind. Hope it is on my door tomorrow.

The Ten Deluxe on the side reads 1990 - 1992
The Vs/Vitalogy on the side reads 1993 - 1995

So I guess there would be a No Code/Yield reading 1996 - 1999
then a Binaural/Riot Act reading 2000 - 2005

That would look so cool on my closet. Side by side. Would look like a Pearl Jam Encyclopedia
One day if I have a son/daughter they will be able to browse thru it and understand and appreciate it in full.
My dad talk about The Beatles from time to time and I wish he had something like this for me to look thru.

agree... I am thinking about that... my daughter is due in April 16th; she will have something to look and understand a little bit of his daddy "musical taste" and why not became a huge PJ fan, can you imagine somebody playing all this vinyl in a turntable on 2020, would be awesome!!!

When I bought the box, two weeks ago, I calculated the chances, and I chose to buy it anyway, because these two records are too important to me. But it's not fair, for sure. Anyway, on my past purchases from the USA and Europe webstores, I never had the misfortune of being forced to pay these fees -- I hope this won't be the first time.

About the post office, I didn't understand what you said -- why would you get the box just in July? I have a post box at my local post office (Florianopolis), I always receive purchases from the USA and Europe there and I always get them as soon as they arrive there, with no problems or delays at all...

I had several problems with Correios(Brazil Post Office). Example. I purchased the Boxset of TEN from 10C and never got it. 10C told me they shipped. I waited for MONTHs going weekly to the Post Office. They said there were nothing they could do. 10C said there was no tracking. Luckly the refunded the purchase.
Then I travelled to Washington and got a new one there.
It happens with Amazon and all others that send stuff thru USPS. USPS delivers it to the Correios and there the problems begin. Once I had a package from Fedex delivered to Correios. It showed in Fedex tracking that it was in my town (Campinas/SP). I called Fedex they said they delivered it to the local post office. It stayed there for 3 months. Then I got a message saying I had to go to the local post office to pay the import duties to retrieve my boxset. Awful.

I am already expecting the call from UPS asking me to have a check ready tomorrow to cover import duties. That if they don't deliver it to Correios. If it gets duty free to my door will be the first time for a large package.

I always by records from Amazon and I keep it under 50 dollars to avoid taxes. Normally I don't pay because of that. But a big package like this one? 10 lbs and costing a total of USD236,00 with shipping? 90% chances you will get a call from UPS as well or the telegram from Correios.

Let's pray I am wrong.
