Found the soundtrack to the movie Singles. Has "Breath" and "SOLAT" along with "Would" and "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns" and "Birth Ritual" from SG..

I didn't know my father was into the grunge scene much.. cool to see. He sees me from above, and is probably proud im listening to this music instead of the shit that is out now.

This must be the equivalent of me finding Beatles vinyls in my parents' closet.

That's sort of what I was thinking. I found my dad's creedence records. Hearing someone talk about going through their dad's cd box just sounds weird (especially since it contains a CD that I own).

I speak for myself, but I know I'm proud that my 16 yo daughter listens to Pearl Jam. She was just born when I started listening to PJ and now she sings along to the songs with me!! It blows me away that she likes PJ instead of all the other crap on the radio. She's even coming with me to see Eddie in NYC 1. I'm sure your dad is smiling and saying "that's my kid!!"

haha thats awesome! Yeah, he really LOVED music. He hated RAP.. and he would always say do me a favor.. listen to real music. Not much of it these days.. grunge wasnt his fav genre but cool to see he at least listened.

He was a Who guy.. so I guess he liked it lol..

Yeah, I feel old that way too... But my dad's 78's (very hard vinyl... LOL) were of Mitch Miller and Bing Crosby... Mom had a 45 of Bill Haley though...

Just took my 17 y/o to his first PJ show (Hartford 08) and he's hooked... (hey dad, when can I get the bootleg...) We had my 10C tickets in section 800 and one ticket in the sixth row center that we rotated on... He was stoked his turn included Even Flow... So there he was, a new PJ fan who became one playing Guitar Hero...

Ha now I feel old too.

I remember buying the Singles soundtrack back in the day. It was around the same time I picked up the Mother Love Bone and Green River albums - that is when my obsession with PJ just started! :)

    Great soundtrack, awesome movie!!

Forrest Gump had a very solid soundtrack...I think I would argue that statement.

This post makes me feel really old, and I'm only 28. Great soundtrack of course....the apartment and courtyard on capitol hill is so much smaller than portrayed in the film, its sort of funny to drive by once and awhile. Love this movie...its got ed, stone, jeff, tad, aic, and soundgarden....can't go wrong.

I have to agree with the size of the courtyard of the singles apartments.
We drove by on April and we almost missed it because it was so small! We didn't go up the stairs or anything just kinda stood in front of it to take a picture (didn't want to bother any of the residents) but I was surprised by how much smaller it was than it looks in the movie.
