I always listen to the boys when I'm working out, but it's tough to determine my favorite. I'd say it's between:
Go
Last Exit
Comatose
DTE (Live)
Deep

What about everyone else?

EDIT: Wow, how did I not put Blood

  • I actually have an entire "Pearl Jam workout" playlist.
    Anyway,
    -Spin the Black Circle
    -Big Wave
    -Brain of J
    -Save You
    -Hail, Hail
    -Lukin
    -Breakerfall
    -Gods Dice
-Dirty Frank (it's just too funky sounding not to be included)

I like your list. I have one similar. But I throw in some slow(but powerful) songs to mix up the tempo. I find it works pretty well. Save You is the song that gets me the most pumped I think.

This is seriously my list sans Dirty Frank. I always start with Brain of J and then let my ipod choose the rest. The only difference is I throw Habit on mine. Gotta have Habit.

I agree with that. I could list off a bunch of Pearl Jam songs that I love to run to, but I think any song is great to run to. Call me crazy, but I think it just depends on the tempo you want to run to. I usually just put my iPod on shuffle to all Pearl Jam songs. To be fair though, I sometimes skip songs like Just Breathe when I need an aggressive push.

I was just going to start making a mix for this same exact reason. I'm hoping to make at least 2 cds of 60mins or more of all their rockin' & fast paced songs to switch off each day. So if everyone puts in their suggestions, that will make my mix making a whole lot easier! Keep the ideas flowing!

DTE and Comatose have a regular spot in my workout playlist. I haven't thought too much about integrating more into it, but I could see Whipping, Spin the Black Circle, Blood, All Night, Breakerfal, Grievance, Porch, Animal, and RVM having a good fit though.

Most of my workout playlist is heavy, fast, increasing tempo music.

Dirty Frank works for me, but Habit is a great one too. Just way too loud not to work

i'm not sure if there has ever been a training tip on this entire forum but being one, here's one:

when doing a set of an exercise, pop baba o reilly from the singles party on and do your 1st rep from the first drum when the music hits

keep doing 1 rep per drum and when you can't keep up then stop the set

i did these for shoulder presses and it works great

maybe i'll find songs for a bunch of exercises as range of motion fits various drum cycles (know what i mean?)
