Kozik s/n sells for $3050 on ebay

I was looking at ebay the other day and there was "THE" Kozik on auction s/n, first print, etc. It was at 550 when I put it in my watch list- I wasn't going to bid just wanted to see what it would go for. I looked today and it went for $3050.00 after nearly 40 bids or so. Is it actually worth that much?

    There is another up for sale... I like how the seller actually uses the term "holy grail" in the description :D
