Need help - I have 2 Questions

I want to be a more enlightened PJ fan and I have 2 questions that keep popping up in my brain.

1. In the tour photos I see pictures of an old guy with long hair and a beard. He's note pretty enough to be an age regressed picture of Eddie when he's that old cause Ed will be gorgeous forever (but it could be Mike as an old fart). But if that's not who he is then who is he and why is he always on stage.

2. In the pit people often reply "bump". Is that an agreement? or an f.u.? If I use it I want it to be in the right context. Along that same line, if there are any other handy one word phrases that have expanded meaning, feel free to educate me.

    "bump" just means that you are bumping the thread to the top of the list. After someone replies to a thread, the thread is moved to the top of the list, underneath the stickies

    1) Boom Gaspar. Keyboardist since 2002.

    2) Bump = "I want this thread to rise to the top and be seen as recently modified so other users will notice it, because it has been inactive for several hours/days"

    Answer to question #1 .. his name is Boom he plays the keyboard, he has been touring with them since 2002-2003.

    You've heard the real usage, but I think it would be cool if it was an "f.u." like you said. You know, like "Bump you!" or "Shut the bump up, motherbumper."

    answer to question 1 - it's Boom, but a million people have told you that already. he plays the organ....i think the best song where he gets the most recognition is Crazy Mary on the Live at Benaroya Hall album...:D and if you hear what sounds like 'boo!' it's actually "BOOM!!' :D;)
