Okay.... just wanted to see what people are thinking on Labor Day.

Obviously... I don't like.
I will go anywhere and pay whatever but not on this weekend.

Roger that. I'll talk to my people.
I just realized how relevant your name is especially the last week. Both parts of it.

I agree. Labor Day does mean more people will have off, but it also means higher costs of travel and more traffic.

Yeah same here....a very close friend is getting married that weekend and would really mess up my plans for PJ20 weekend. Ugh!

Oh, indeed no Labor Day please ... If Labor Day it is, my friend won't make it (this is NOT a holiday here and you can't really take the day off when you're a teacher and Sept' the 5th is back to school day I guess :? ). There go our plans for our summer vacations in the US 'around' PJ20  .
  • I hope it's on or around Labor Day. I'll be in California all July.

Labor Day long weekend is gonna be madness. The traffic. The busy flights. The masses.

I kinda hope it's the weekend before or so. August 26th, 27th, 28th would be great.

Lots of personal and financial reasons this weekend stinks for sure....

Not sure the band cares but hopefully they have plans as well and not PJ20 plans :)

We adjusted our 'Labor Day' plans a few years ago...take Friday off, half day on Thursday so we can drive out to the campsite. Friday, Saturday and we leave mid afternoon on Sunday just to avoid Monday traffic...and to recover/clean up.
Though, more and more people are catching on to this plan :x

I'd rather it NOT be on Labor Day because of the prices being artifically inflated, but we really don't have plans that we can't cancel.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Labor Day means more people can't go. Think about how many events and functions are scheduled that weekend. Alot more people could just take a vacation day on a Friday in August.

The weekend before Labor Day (8/26 - 8/28) seems like the natural choice as 8/27 is the 20th Anniversary of Ten. I'll go if it's Labor Day, but my wife and I would have to cancel our trip to Sonoma, so I'm rooting against it...

I'm torn! I have been camping with friends for over 20 years on that weekend! Please don't do Labor day weekend! I know which way I'm going to go (PJ) I just don't want to make that choice!

PJ, please don't play any festival. It is extremely inconvienant to our lives.

    Signed,

Every whiney ass selfish me first person

If you have weddings/camping commitments/ vacations planned perhaps you could not attend and go on with your lives?

Instead of pandering to have everything your way?

Labor Day IS NOT a big weekend for travel internationally. I've never heard anyone say "I can't wait to go to Spain for 3 days over Labor Day!".

If this is important to you, you'll go. If you have weddings to attend...well... Perhaps your priorities need reevaluated?
