Tres Mts Seattle Show Review 3/16/11

Hey Everyone!
I just woke up from an incredible night!! Sorry about the late review, it's only 9:00 AM right now and I didn't get to sleep last night till about 1:00 AM. But I'm not going to school today so I can write a lengthy review on this outstanding show.
So me, me dad and my dad's friend get down to the show box around 8:00 PM and when we get in the opening band was playing. They were called My Goodness and they weren't that bad! I will have to check out their music later! While they were playing I went to see what Merch they had and they were selling some cool things! They were selling these cool posters for $30, of course, I got one! Here is them:

They were also selling the Tres Mts stickers for a $1 (They are green and they say Tres Mts with some Mexican type border), I also got some. They were selling shirts with the same design for $20 and on the back it says:

And of course I got one! They were also selling the beanies for $25. That was the only thing I didn't get.
So the three of us got closer in the crowd and around 9:30 the band finally got on. They were looking good!! Jeff was even rocking one of his Beanies!!! Then the awesomeness started to begin!
Holes in the Road: The second they started playing this song I started jumping up and down and was totally into the show. It took dUg a little bit to get comfortable with the crowd but when he did his voice showed it. That is one of my favorite from the album and the band nailed it! Even Mike's and Jeff's backing vocals went good with the song. And as always Mike let out a badass solo!
Utah: This song rocks on the album and it rocks even more live! That was one of the songs that I was screaming the vocals too and jumping up in down to! This was another one where Jeff's backing vocals went good with dUg's vocals. Just an awesome fast rock song that I'm so glad I was able to see live!
Mystery: This is one of those songs that I like alot better live then on the album! The band really got into this song, dUg's vocal were awesome on this song since he was able to hit every note. Richard drumming was also amazing on this song. A real rocker!
Makes Me Feel: The song started with Richard's tribal drumming and then with Mike's mysterious guitar riff followed by Jeff's base line that got the song it's "groove." Then dUg started to sing and that was one of the highlights for his vocals. He was able to hit the low notes and he was able to hit the high notes. He was able to hit all of the notes!! He even showed off in the end, it was outstanding!
God Told Me: This song if one of my favorite from from the album and it was one of my favorite last night! This was yet another song where Mike's and Jeff's backing vocals stood out next to dUg's perfect vocals! And then in the middle of the song Mike starting doing some awesome solos! Him and dUg were jamming out with their guitars! A perfect performance!!!!
Afrosheena: Another song that is better live then on the CD. This song had alot more powerful then it is on the CD. Mike was totally into this one! Every chance he got he was jamming on his guitar! He closed his eyes and was a soloing beast!
In the Middle: This song was one that the crowd got into! Every one was singing the chorus including me! "In the middle under Heaven, just outside of Hell!" I love the guitars in this song and when Mike started to play it was even better then on the album! dUg was really into this song, so was Jeff. The band nailed this one!
She's My New Song: The second Richard started the drumbeat to this song and Jeff started kicking out his base lines the crowd went crazy like me. A song that the band enjoyed playing and the crowd enjoyed listening to! This is the song where Mike went nuts on the solos, it was amaizng!!! Three words....MIKE IS GOD.
Oh Lord: Still not my favorite song but it was really good live! dUg's vocals were spot on on this song and Mike was also ripping out the solos on this song! And it was fun seeing Richard drum on this song!
My Baby: When dUg started sing the words to this song everyone in the crowd looked at each other, smiled, said "Hell Ya!" and started jumping up and down. This really is a kickass song! The vocals, the bass, the drums, the guitar/solos from Mike! A fantastic song to see live!!!
Life: When My Baby ended everyone in the crowd was shouting "ONE MORE SONG!" And of course, the band came back out again to do an encore! Mike came out wearing this cool jacket! Then Richard came out and went to the keyboard and started playing Life. dUg's vocals on this song was amazing and Mike totally nailed the solo! Richard was also really into the song!
In Every Dream Home a Heartache: I was confused when Mike got behind the keyboard and started playing it but when dUg started to sing I went crazy, I was the only one who went crazy but that was ok. His vocals were mysterious and cool throughout the song and when he sang "But you blew my mind!" Mike jump from behind the keyboard with his guitar and started jamming out with the band! dUg's vocals were on fire and so were Mike's solos! A highlight of the show!
La Grange/Fire: The second Mike started playing the first notes of La Grange the crowd went WILD!!! Me and everyone else was jumping up and down and was going crazy!! dUg's vocals were perfect for that song and Mike's solos were unbelievable. The and played that song so good!!! Then the second that song was over they started playing Fire!!!! The crowd was like "WOAH!!!" This was another song that was perfect for dUg's vocals plus Jeff had good backing vocals. And Mike was awesome!!! He played a solo behind his head!!!!!! I will say it one more time MIKE IS GOD!!!! An awesome ended to an awesome show!!!
To review, this concert was....AWESOME!!!! Probably one of the best nights I have ever had! Mike was so amazing and was on fire the whole night! The same goes for dUg, Jeff and Richard. Mike had amazing solos and got up and personal with the crowd. At at some points of the show he threw out some picks and some Tres Mts!!!They have an awesome album but they are even better live!!! I recommend seeing them live!!! I will post pics and videos later today! An amazing night!!!!!
