    The irony is everyone wants a tweet today or this week but we all know when we get it, we already know that its for an Ed tour or album. The festival announcement won't happen til mid-April at the earliest. So rather than a tweet, 10C might as well just give us the info for Ed's tour and album release date!

    Your not wrong, beat to death is probably an understatement! Its been hyped up too much (by fans), I can see people being disappointed when the announcement happens. I too said from the start there would be no confirmation til April. The impatience of people on here for the details is unbelieveable.

    I hope you get your Ed Philly date. I can only sit here and watch with much jealousy that an US Ed tour is on its way again and hope that one day Mr Vedder decides to hit Europe with some solo shows.

    It's all good...one tweet at a time...first Ed....then PJ20 next month....I'm sooooo fucking ready to see my hommies!! Mike and Jeff in less than 2 weeks (Tres Mnts) and Ed in 2 months!!...then PJ in Aug. or Sep.!!




    * plus a few Deftones shows in May!!....all i need now is AIC to tour the East Coast sometime in the next 5 or 6 months and I'll be golden!!!! :D:D:D

    I don't know why but I just can't see Ed doing Europe. Something makes me think its too much of a commitment - he'd do what, say 10 shows maybe 15 tops. How many countries would he get too for that? Maybe he'd just do London, Paris, couple of shows in Italy. I really hope that he would do a Europe tour but theres a part of me thats way too negative thinking it won't happen! If it does happen it'd be next year.

    I'd like a Tres Mts Europe tour too :lol:

    Don't give up hope of Ed doing a solo European tour. I could really see him playing at least a few shows in the major cities over there. Maybe not this year with PJ20 but next year it could work.

    Let's see......so the pre-sale for the Boston show begins Monday March 28th. So we should get a tweet around Thursday of next week.

    Really don't think they need to "tweet" anything. Everyone who even just snoops around here from time to time knows Ed is doing a solo show this summer on the east coast in support of the uke album. Just tell us when and where each show is. We don't need the little hints like, "A birdie flew by the window and said how he loves a baked bean and cheesesteak sandwich alone." Thanks.

    So the TWEET is the "hey kids, get your membership in order because we will have an announcement on an unspecified random day some time after the weekend" and the NEWS itself is not considered a tweet? I thought they were both tweets.

    Sorry if I sound harsh but I am not the only one around here who doesn't really care to have news delivered via-a little birdy (especially when the news being delivered was likely broken days earlier elsewhere). Those sometimes very vague tweets just cause more chaos and arguing. We are adults here. Usually.

    You are entitled to like and dislike what you will and as long as your negative postings don't reach the level of trolling and/or harassment, your account will remain with posting privileges. Just make yourself a note to *not* read the Tweet threads...they are easy to spot and you can avoid them. They are not for you. Other people find them fun and we'll continue on with our fun in creating them. Thank you.
