I'm sort of a purist about those things, I really wanted the original pressing.........It was worth the $$$ to me, no complaints at all. :D

That's what I'm doing. I shelled out for Avocado because I don't think that's coming out for a long time. The others I'm waiting for. (No Code through Lost Dogs)

    But congrats on your purchase!!!

I'd be very surprised if Lost Dogs gets the re-issue/re-master treatment. No Code/Yield will be a couple years off without question.

eBay. Was a pretty sweet Buy It Now price, respectable seller, condition was attractive.....and so worth it. My second spin I played it pretty loud and it just came alive.

    So jealous!

Well, not trying to make anyone jealous...but I'll say this: I'm jealous of anyone who has a 'Binaural' vinyl. That's my holy grail. Soon, soon............I can feel it! :D

Thanks for responding, I have always been nervous dropping that kind of cash on eBay for records. Glad yours worked out. Enjoy!

Crazy what Binaural is going for these days. Two of them on the bay right now at over $220 and the NOT sealed :o Good luck in your vinyl collecting. So fun and rewarding when you drop that needle down :)
  • Jesus, that'll put a dent in my record collection fund. Why are some of the vinyls so expensive? Is it just a matter of limited original production or what?

yah its really odd how that works. I started collecting the PJ vinyl around the yield tour, and at that time I didn't have a hard time buy yield, no code, vitalogy, vs, or ten. I guess people weren't into vinyl back then. Each album came out I could go to a record store and buy it new.. until maybe riot act, in which i started to buy my vinyl off the internet.

but yah PJ albums were really easy to find when first released but once the pressing dries up, they sell for big dollars on ebay. I often wonder how much the pressings were limited to.

I suppose it'll be interesting to see if the demand drops as the rereleases come out. I'm still on the fence. 10 was a good album to remix, but VS through Yield sound awesome already, I'm having a hard time seeing how remixing them would make them better. If the originals still sound superior to the new mixes, I imagine they won't go down in price.
