Undocumented pain

Scarecrow is looking down at me
Tell me what do you see?
Fifty years of wandering has taken its toll on me.

Scarecrow hanging a wooden cross
Only there for me
Undocumented pain no one else can see.

The years they passed like the dreams we had
Before we cried our self’s to sleep
Every night is a toast and cheer
To your burning memory.

Scarecrow look at me and tell me
What do you see?
Every nights a toast and cheer
To her burning memory.

Last man standing in the still of the night
With the full moon in his eye’s
And there in the scarecrows shadow
His screams began to come alive.

How many times will she pass me by?
Before the scarecrow sees inside
The last man standing in the still of the night
With the full moon in his eyes.
