Yeah that's right only one show that you could store in your memory bank, and take it with you to the otherside once you kick the bucket :P

Mine would be

Penn Sate 03

And it's not because of the set list or how long they played or the crowd but rather of what i saw in the Band that night to see them just leave it all on that stage that night nothing left to give was just unreal :) ...
jesus greets me looks just like me ....

Atlanta '94. I was 16...first time I drove to Atlanta...first concert period and somehow had 14th row. I wish I had known what the hell I was about to witness. Every show after that has been compared to that show. 2003 came pretty close. Needless to say that night forever shaped my taste in music. I just wish I could remember more details.

Randalls Island II 1996. Most incredible show I've ever seen (from any band, not just PJ).

Wolf Mountain (now the Canyons) in Park City, UT. June 21, 1994. The concert that never was......

Although the tickets said "rain or shine", unfortunately the rain prevailed and the show was cancelled. I've seen many concerts at this venue, and that Pearl Jam show would have been epic! With great anticipation we slopped through the mud and muck to our spot on the hillside, only to hear that announcement that......

The two night show in November '95 at the Delta Center to make up for that rain-out were outstanding, but I'll always wish I could go back, turn off the rain faucet and experience that outdoor show. Still much despair over that one.

I'd love to say Philly 3 from 2009 since the setlist blew me away and it was their best show in ages.

I'd love to say Borgata 2 from 2005 since it was so intimate and I was up close.

I'd also love to say Virginia Beach 2008 since I was front row (far side).

But I'm going to choose Virginia Beach 2000 (my first show) since it was when I became obsessed with the band. I'd always loved their music and considered No Code my favorite record, but I also listened to a lot of metal, punk, and 90's rock. That show changed my perspective. Plus Sonic Youth opened. It was a somber night (first show post-Roskilde), but that made it very special too. The setlist was pedestrian and more mellow than heavy but songs like "Sleight of Hand" and "Insignificance" were phenomenal.

Memphis 2000. Remains my fave. I'd love to hear it again in the moment.
  • Buffalo 2010.

I had gone to cleveland the night before and was brutally sick... couldn't enjoy anything. the next morning I woke up and was totally fine (24 hour flu).. when we got to buffalo I went to the will call window and the girl exclaimed "oh my god, you won the lottery!" FRONT ROW. Couldn't believe it. I rocked out so hard Mike threw me a banana, autographed a schedule for me, and I got picks from Jeff and Mike. From zero to hero in one night. Love you 10C.
