That is pretty cool. Look at the company PJ has! Top 10 all time, NICE! :D
Camden NJ night 1 6/19/2008 (one of the best days of my life!)

Music is the engine to my Imagination and Pearl Jam is the fuel for that engine.
  • I saw this yesterday also, was good to see them make this list, especially given all the bands that they ranked right behind. I would have lost it if they ranked Kiss higher than PJ

I can't say that I care for Kiss' music all that much, but my God do they put on a helluva show. I won free tix front row center to one of their shows back in the late 90's. Fire and broken guitars, to this day one of the best "shows" I've ever seen. Still didn't make me like their music any more though!

I would take front row center for a PJ concert anyday over Kiss!
"Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water, and God said, Let there be music, and there was Pearl Jam."

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
  • can someone please explain U2 to me? i really don't understand how they have such a large following....i feel like all their music in the last 15 years has been total commercial garbage.

last I checked most if not all bands want to be SUCCESSFUL and have a CAREER and MAKE MONEY

If a band makes music that doesnt sell in any form and they cant get people to come to their shows they are not successful and do not make any money and have to look eslewhere to earn a living.

to be on that list is the ultimate sign of respect. Can you be with a better group of recent (last 25 years)bands?

I agree with most of those, but I've seen u2 a few times now, and I've seem them bring it, and I've seen them not bring it. I've always felt pearl jam a bad night is better then most bands on a good night. I think Pearl Jam is a little more consistent with their performances.

Can't speak for some of the other bands though. I saw Springsteen a few years ago and I had 103 degree fever and was ill with bronchitis (allthough I didn't know it), I was in such rough shape I actually sat down during the encore in the middle of the floor because I couldn't stand anymore. It was a pretty good show from what I remember, but I remember the illness more then the show

The Who were pretty good when I saw them, which was the last tour with Entwistle (saw them play the gorge).

I've never seen Zep (kicking myself for not going to England a few years go), the stones, kiss, the dead, or queen, or floyd.

I've seen 4 in the top 10, I suppose thats not too shabby.

btw the Springsteen was pretty much the last name on my list of bands I wanted to see play (that still tour anyways). In University I was on this honesty kick and had tix to see springsteen for the rising tour. I actually told my prof I needed to write the final at a different date so I could see springsteen. It'd didn't fly well (and he taught me the lesson, that sometimes its ok to lie). Anyways I moved away from Vancouver, but a friend of mine offered me a free ticket if I went on the tour a few years ago, so I flew out, was sick as a dog, but I had to go :)
