20th Anniversary Summer concert

Please PJ if you are out there listening........

Please announce when this summer jam is going to be , you know some of your fan have have careers and jobs and have to fight tooth and nail for summer vacation. You dont even have to announce the place yet I will get there no matter what, I just need to know the date!!!! Arghhhhhh its driving me crazy.

I was at the 10th Anniversary concert in Las Vegas and really really want to be present at the 20th anniversary concert also.

    been thinking the same thing,
    the later it gets in the season,
    the more worried i am about not only the dates (for vacation day requests need to be put in early)
    but the possible number of shows
    and the length of time we'll have to save moola
    between the announcement and the actual ticket sales

    cuz you KNOW we need to attend multiple shows if at all possible

    so....PJ Powers That Be....Please Please go easy on us :D

    Flight from Ireland to New York for end of August now at $830 and going up. Add a flight to middle of US and I'm way over a $1000 for travelling expenses. That will continue to go up the closer we get to summer.

    Don't expect an announcement before April. They haven't even announced the Ed shows in the US and that is close to 3 months prior.

    Trust me the cost of getting there isn't their concern right now. They won't announce anything until everything is 100% finalized.

    there is very little doubt that it's at Alpine Valley and it will most likely be Labor Day weekend.

    I know the cost of fans getting there isn't their concern I'm just pointing out that people travelling from Europe are going to have to pay a lot at that time of year. Just hope all those from Europe and elsewhere overseas have started the PJ saving fund.

    I have pretty much convinced myself that it will be in Seatlle anyway. Don't know how I could possibly make that trip anyway. Although I would love to go to Seattle to see them live, not financially possible.

    Not getting my hopes up for any kind of mini-tour with a show close to me. Although I would be lying if i said I wasn't just a little bit hopeful!!!

    If I was in Europe, I'd save my money and wait for them to do 2 shows back to back in a much better locale. for example Somewhere with things to do and possibly a beach. But hey, who am I to tell you what to do with your money.

    HA that is so funny you are dead on ......... my kind of PJ fan....I havent done the multiple show in a long time but would love to....

    I was under the impression:

    Festival = 3 nights of music at least so 3 Pearl Jam shows at the same place.

    HA that is so funny you are dead on ......... my kind of PJ fan....I havent done the multiple show in a long time but would love to....

    lucky enough to have quite a few multiples in my area (nyc/philly)
    only made the 3 local shows last year (newark and nyc) hoping for a LOT more this time round
