80's Music

Just watched the trailer for the new movie "Take Me Home Tonight", and kinda of thought this movie may be alright, and reminded me of other 80's films and the music from this era. Which is kinda of a harder era for me to pick out some of my own favorite tunes, most of the music I like are from old 80's films. Thought it might be fun to make your own 80's playlist.

Talk Talk - Such A Shame

Interesting, this song was never big in the States ... Talk Talk (the song) and It's My Life were their two big songs.

Did a few top ten songs that came to my mind with different themes ... went with the popular songs, the video songs, not the songs I like per se. Fun exercise with my morning coffee.

Split Enz - I Got You
    Missing Persons - Words
    Berlin - Metro
Romeo Void - Never Say Never
    Soft Cell - Tainted Love
Wall of Voodoo - Mexican Radio
Waitresses - I Know What Boys Like
    Til Tuesday - Voices Carry
Violent Femmes - Blister in the Sun
    The Vapors - Turning Japanese

...and for fans of the Headbanger's Ball ...

Judas Priest – You Got Another Thing Comin’
    Motorhead – Ace of Spades
    Iron Maiden – The Trooper
Dio – Rainbow in the Dark
    Black Sabbath – Mob Rules
    Metallica – One
    Anthrax – I’m the Man
    Megadeth – Peace Sells
    Tesla – Modern Day Cowboy
The Cult – She Sells Sanctuary
