    Maiden are going to own the day dude. Even if you're not a huge fan, just wait until you see the audience reaction. There is no crowd like a Maiden crowd. (And my gig pedigree is extensive). Not trying to talk down to you. You'll be there now, while I'm absolutely outta my skull typing this in Dublin. Hope you're having the craic today!

    Went to Melbourne Soundwave yesterday ..... AWESOME!
    We had the QOTSA sideshow the night before .....AWESOME!

    The Melvins killed it, very cool.
    The Brox gaaaa saw some crazy crowd surfing!
    OHOH OH talk about crowd surfing, a dude in a wheelchair crowd surfed his way upon stage at QOTSA scored himself backstage too, that was something to see.
    Loved Slash, and he actually walked past us on little Bourke street Thursday night, nearly didn't recognise him without his hat & sunnies, his security told our mate to step back though when he went to shake his hand :? 8-):lol: ... back off man , too funny!

    What a month of coolness for us... we have Stone Temple Piolets on the 19th and to top the month of March we will be seeing Master Ed on the 25th ( and a hotel in the city stay as an early birthday rah rah YAY!)

    bummer not being able to shake the mans hand...i suppose you get those overly obsessed fans though that follow you everywhere....(99% of this board :lol: ) and then wont let you have a minute of peace to yourself (small percentage of people) pity you didnt bump into myles....from the interviews he gives and from some of the things i've heard he's a real down to earth guy.

    Looking forward to soundwave myself on monday, and then STP the week after.... what i'd give to hear sour girl..doubt they'll play it though. March is a good month!!!

    Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Had an awesome day and yes your right, Maiden did have a great big turn out and did sound great. My fav, surprisingly was actually Rob Zombie!!!! He threw out inflatable beach balls and inflatable sharks! He was dressed up in his usual get up and sounded really good! Great day! Was up the front for the Melvins and loved Primus, still thought they were better outside of a festival though. One Day as a Lion were good but still not as good as Rage against the Machine. Overall though awesome day. Oh Pennywise were very good too! :D:D:D:D:D

    No!!! I didn't, would have really liked to but I had to walk my little brother out. Was too scared to let him go by himself, there were some pretty hammered people starting fights near the entrance and I didn't want him to get hurt. You'll have to tell me what they are like! I should have caught the last bit of them but we stopped to see the last dregs of Slayer.
