PJ 20 Festival question

PJ 20 Question.
With the rampant speculation that it will be at Alpine Valley, i see a LOT of negativity to Apline Valley, with people avoiding the festival jsut because of location
As a Die hard since i was 12, this seems like a NOT TO EVER BE MISSED occasion.
Can anyone please give me some details on the pro's and cons of alpine valley?

Negatives:
All US Amphitheaters(of this style) suck for sound
Only 9,000 seats and 40,000 lawn tickets
You are an hour or 2 from any type of Civilization
At least an hour from the 2 major airports
Positives:
Pearl Jam is playing
I have my rooms booked already(If it is indeed on Labor Day Weekend)

It doesn't matter where they have this thing, people on here are going to complain. I'm happy that they are just having a 20th anniv fest, at least until I see the ticket prices
I've never been there, but besides the steep lawn and sound issues that people already mentioned, I've heard some complaints about just the location (not being close enough to a bigger city, hotels, etc), not room for enough people, and taking forever getting in and out of the parking lot.
2000 - Noblesville
2010 - Noblesville
2011 - EV solo St Louis, PJ20 Alpine Valley
2012 - San Fran (Oracle)

It's not just me. The entire Alpine Valley Resort is booked for Labor Day Weekend and the weekend before because of PJ fans. I only lose $25 per room if I cancel. It was a no brainer.

What's the best place to book a hotel? I'm guessing the answer is no where because I'm already too late?
I haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure if that area has grown any. I doubt it did.
Hope that helps.

"maybe it me or it maybe you"
See, now that I would bitch about. I always found both Doc and Captain Steubing's kid annoying. And Charlie's Angels are hair-obsessed.
Isaac the bartender is pretty cool, though. So is Bosley.
I am one of those fans (both weekends). I agree its a no brainer...
I would be very happy about that.
plus it's too easy to get into the pav without a pav ticket, it would get way crowded and PJ fans aren't the kind of crowd who can handle that
I would be pissed the guys from CHiPs weren't there....
I have been to numberous shows at Alpine. My wife is a Dave Matthews fan and they play there every year. The only problem I have had at Alpine is usually the people that come to the Dave shows are ignorant. But since Pearl Jam shows always have the best fans it won't be an issue.
The other issue is getting out of the parking lot. It is perfect for a Snickers commercial, "not going anywhere for a while".
I will say that some of the views from the lawn are bad but as for the sound it is not as bad as people are making it out IMHO. It doesn't much bother me where PJ20 would be I will be there. I am just happy that the band I enjoy so much is still around for me to see and enjoy the music.
negative:air ticket prices getting up every day so we need the announcement asap for book
