Pit etiquette and lingo

OK i am a newbie, and i was wondering about some of the seeming unwritten rules of board etiquette, some of the terms used on here and so on.

You could rightfully say that i am a technological infant and i am asking for a dictionary/definitions of abbreviations used?

having been on here for a little bit , I THINK i am ready for the onslaught of SARCASM,... So SOCK IT TO ME

    I don't know if there is a dictionary. :eek:

    there aren't that many unwritten rules (at least that I know of). just follow the posting guidelines, have fun, be respectful of other posters.

    as a personal opinion, it might be nice not to curse too much or call other people nasty names. :)

    1.no matter what you do, someone here will disagree and tell you youre wrong.

    2.Always start a new thread about anything to do with posters rather than posting IN a posters thread.

    3.If someone is going to more shows to you they are cooler than you, but be happy that you are still cooler than anyone in the south.

    4.Pay no attention to the size of the "please play the south" thread. It is the same 10 people posting over and over and over and over and over and......
