I know how ED, says he can feel the stage bounce up and down. And I know sitting in the seats you can feel the floor pounding. Lastnight I was in section 100 on the cement floor......and I swear that floor was moving. Might have been the vicodine that I was on not sure.... but during a few songs that floor was bouncing. To move a propped up stage is one thing......to make a cement floor bounce......well thats in a league of its own.

Yea I was in section 68 tuesday nite, bungee cord is a good description. Felt it first during Corduroy, I didnt know what was going on at first, very weird feeling. Then i realized "holy crap the stage is bouncing!"

From behind the stage you could literally see all the lights and the backdrop shaking and moving up and down, but having the entire section shaking was nuts

Ikt asking everyone after the show
"Did you feel it? Didnt I tell ya??" I was by soundboard both nights and I fuckin kept pounding that cement floor nite 1 and a lil further back on the meta floor nite 2, even harder

Came in MSG like a madman...while my sis went to the bathroom I made a run around the arena high fiving everyone and telling them to get up and MOVE, ROCK!!! I wasnt gonna have any of that sitting down shit in our house, lol
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

I think that's what makes the stage move, though. That whole section of concrete under the stage and behind the stage is probably like detachable or something. Something having to do with converting the arena from sports hall to concert hall.

i understand where youre coming from,
but i think what actually shakes are the extensions that go inward from the outer perimeter inwards.
The overall sports setup is what it is.- the floor is right there., they throw up the ice and or courts very quickly.
The foundation is what it is solid and allows for the sway that we were all experiencing inside there.

this happens often at Ranger games.

    incredible.

Why are you posting that link in here? Can't you tell that no one shares your opinion? If you'd rather go to shows with a stale, boring crowd, that's you're business.

The "floor" of MSG is actually the 5th floor of the building. The WaMu theater is underneath it. that might make it a little bit easier to shake.

One of these days Fall Out Boy will be playing there and 7,000 Pearl Jam fans will just come crashing down.
