    When you consider going to a Phillip Glass performance, just to hear 20-30 secs of a song, so you can get that feeling you get when you hear it at a PJ show! Of course once you tell your wife that's why you want to go, she rolls her eyes and calls you "obsessed".....

    When you're referenced on a bootleg.......You smile when listening to the 5/18/2010 NJ boot at the end of The Fixer, when Eddie says "I'm seeing a lot of license plates being held up....and...I can't read 'em...but I'm just anticipating they're stolen....is that why?"....and you know it's about you!

    when sometime ago there was a radio we used to call every day to vote for a group just because they said your name and location in between songs. PJ was 1st place for months.
    That same radio had a shutdown years ago, and now it's been on for some months, the other day just from a sony megabass analog fm player really old i keep at work, in my dinner break got to listen 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' from them. roots from the past fucking made me cry, or was it just the song itself? :D
    When you're with your buddy and he puts 'Smile' on repeat and you're sure it's fine with you.

    When you're husband doesnt even bother questioning youre insane amts of PJ purchases over the past few months, cause he's just so used to it. And when he doesn't even bother to ask if you're buying tickets to the EV solo show, cause it's just a given, no questions need to be asked... And when you're 7 and a half and 4 and a half yr old insist on listening to PJ in dads car cause they Are so used to listening to it all the time in mums car :-)

    hahahah! im the same way...im such a snob when i pop in a bootleg and skip Alive and Even Flow 99% of the time but as soon as I hear them on the radio, I feel proud that the band gets some radio play and listen start to finish.
