The 2K babeball games are horrible. The show 2011 comes out in a couple weeks. Last year you were able to play your own soundtrack through the stadium PA system. (echo and all). I hope they don't drop that feature

It's not THAT bad. If The Show wasn't so damn amazing and set the bar so high it wouldn't make 2K look quite as bad. The fact is, if you only have a 360 then you have absolutely no choice - if you want to play a baseball game it has to be 2K and it really is quite serviceable in most all areas. I actually played the career mode on it more than the career mode on The Show just because Sony hadn't made any major changes to it in several years and it had gotten stale, but for overall experience if you own a PS3 you would be clinically insane to choose 2K over The Show.
I think next year will be the last exclusive release and I am hoping the door is opened for EA. Their last MLB release was the strongest ever.

2k10 was the EXACT same as 2k9 for the Wii just with slightly updated rosters (still plenty of inaccuracies) and slightly better graphics, but everything else was the same. even the commentary was the exact same stuff recycled from 2k9...i'm desperate for a good baseball game. so much so that i'm even considering buying 2k11...SO IT BETTER DELIVER!
I remember liking 2k2 on the dreamcast quite a bit.. but that's a while back now
Basewars for the NES & Ken Griffey Junior Baseball for the N64 were the funniest baseball video games EVER. Remember the cheat code for Griffey each time he's @ bat he hits a home run?
xbox sucks
i still rock basewars on my phone every now and again. easily my favorite baseball game.
