Pearl Jam Tour 2008 - Dallas for one!

Just received the following note from American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas:

Superpages.com Center (formerly Smirnoff Music Centre) season tickets are now available through American Airlines Center. All ticket packages include guaranteed seats for all shows, VIP parking, club access and more. Over 30 shows are scheduled or pending for the 2008 season including Rush, Radiohead, The Police, Steve Miller Band, Chicago, Doobie Bros., Boston, Toby Keith, Santana, and Pearl Jam!

Okay, so it's scheduled or pending but it certainly got my attention and I thought I'd pass it on...

    I received this same e-mail yesterday and was looking to see if anybody else had posted this yet.

    I had been renewing with the 10 club for the last 4 years, but I let it lapse last year when they again failed to schedule any shows in this part of the country. I wonder if it's too late to renew now.

    Where is Justin, TX? Never heard of it? I'm moving to Austin in June so it might be perfect timing for me...

    You should renew at tenclub right now because they are about to announce the tour and it usually requires you to be a current member to be part of the presale. Remember your membership number from before or they will give you a totally new one - way down the line!!

    They have a grace period, not sure what it is. I let mine lapse but it was prior to the electronic age and my record was lost when it was all the numbers were made digital. I lost a sub- 100k number but that's cool.

    Well, if that Dallas date on Sept. 25 holds true, which is very speculative at this point, then it does hint that PJ being at ACL on Sept. 26-28th.

    Super freaking awesome if it happens!!! Come on Texas!

    You'd think if they actually had shows "pending" that Rubysdad could have said something like "there's nothing booked as of now but there is a good chance that a few more shows will be added later."

    I don't get the communicatoin around here sometimes...

    Imagine of the did mention the "pending" shows, people would start booking travel, etc, and, if the shows didn't happen, imagine the complaining here!

    I got a 10C email today about "possible" shows being added. I really hope they slap a "possible" Dallas show up there as well.

    this is interesting. do you guys think these east coast dates could be the beginning of a tour? i remember someone saying that 10C said there will be no more shows in 2008 though? it would help everyone out if they announced everything at once

    10C would be the last to know as usual. If they play ACL Fest in Sept. There will be shows in the region. Bet on it

    I called smirnoff music center yesterday, and their marketing department told me they didn't have all the details yet, because they don't book the shows. But "I don't have all the information yet" is equivalent to pending on the above list if you ask me. :D

    It sounds like the Dallas show is locked and loaded, just not official. This is a strange way to plan and announce a tour.
