Funny, I drove by church on my way home from work this morning, and that place is way busier than it was when I was a kid.

I got kicked out of church for questioning my Sunday school teacher.
The questions?
I questioned the validity of Biblical tales (which were simply stolen folk stories anyway) such as the Tower of Babel, Noah's Ark, the Creation, etc.
I simply stated that I felt they were allegorical, and presented questionable morals anyway. She did not like, neither did the staff of the church. Whoops.

I think church and God are something different - think of the many ways in which God is perceived
I don't like the whole feeling of Catholic church, in my opinion it's all about making you feel bad for the simple fact that you are human. I like those religions who celebrate that fact ... But that is just my opinion and I am not religious. Everyone should believe in what they want

I think, if there is a God (which, there probably isn't), it's by pure coincidence that we have a concept of it.
It doesn't fucking matter one way or another. Supernatural beliefs, to a rational adult, ought to be considered preposterous.
