was just blasting vitalogy and aye davanita came on...
has anyone else heard this:
approx 28 to 29 seconds in there is a slight sound that sounds like someone is singing "rup-bup"...which is obviously repeated throughout. its really subtle. I just cant tell if its the percussion, guitars, vocals, or just my ears finally crapping out on me after all of these pj shows...
its amazing how many times ive listened to this album, blasted these songs to the point of making my ears bleed... and this many years later i can still find these little nuances and cool little things ive never noticed before...this band never ceases to amaze me

Whatever it is you're smoking Jimbo I'll take 25 grams next time.....
I love this song so much and would love the band to play it (physically) as intro music at PJ20 instead of Philip Glass. It would be so cool to see then jamming this and then ripping into Go or Deep!! I'll listen for your "rup-bup" and see if I can hear it over the "ba-oombas!"
Like a book among the many on a shelf...
Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/120 -

OK, but just this once
I've just gone back and listened to Ave Davanita and I think I know what your refering to but I have no idea what is making the sound.0 -
I also listened to it again and I think it's definitely a voice singing something like brrrpap

The sound you make when you try to imitate a car ...Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
its funny that you say this .... cause just this past month i have been hearing EVENFLOW a lot on the radio ..
and after all these years i never noticed the "back up vocals" of eddie during the main chorus ...
...like butterflies
" he dont know"
" chases them away"
"LIFE AGAIN...."
its so funny cause now that i know its there ... thats all i can concentrate on during the chorus
have you seen the colors of my fathers eyes0 -

its actually funny you mention smoking something... cause i usually hear a whole lot more when i do smoke, which is why hendrix is much more enjoyable when blazed... but nope... havnt smoked anything recently... i swear to god its there about 28 seconds in BEFORE the ba-oombas... either that or im losing my friggin mind!
