you are obviously on crack. Europe fans are so good they get to your part of the world what once every 5-6 years tops?Member 164xxx

I guess you have never been to see them in the US then as last night at Palm Beach from what I can see no one was sitting for the whole show! Euro festivals are great but sometimes its nice to have a seat, not to sit in but to avoid the crush. I remeber lolla in 92 in Bremerton and the pit for soundgarden and Pearl Jam was so intense the only way out was to go over the top. Persoanlly I would rather have breathing room then the crush so my opinion from that perspective is I feel sorry for the Euro fans who may never have the chance to sit in the 3rd row and be able to actually see and enjoy the show without being crushed!0 -
This is not a comparison of audiences, I hate that crap . . .
but I'll take a US show over a European show any day. All the videos I've seen look like the people are herded and packed together like a bunch of farm animals.
Not my idea of how to enjoy a concert.Don't come closer or I'll have to go0 -

They stop the show and tell people to step back so you all don't kill each other slamming into the barrier.
You enjoy the show the way you like and others will enjoy it the way they see fit.
Why is everything around here a competition???
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away0 -

I am 180xxx I had a friend who was 14xxx for many shows and got front row alot. For the most part the people up there sucked. Folding arms all that stuff. I am very happy to see new blood up there. I would even grab folks out of the lawn and throw them up there. It is a thrill. I had my time up there and jsut want people to be as excited as i was. My first time front row front row philly 2000 after 2 songs eddie sees me and motions for me to calm down lol. Then he put a pick in my hand. You can hear the pause on the boot.
That show may be the best savie it for later ever too. I would start for that as soon as betterman started for me save it for later makes the song. If you listen to the raleigh 2003 boot Mike keeps looking at me and saying no and shaking his head. You can hear mike playfully try to cut ed off. But there was no shot. I knew it and Ed knew it.0 -
I swear to god if I get 1st row I will go nuts... ah man I'm just thinking about it now... what'd I'd do to get up there

People don't sit down because there are seats.Europe does it so much better, the crowds are so much more energetic, I bet the band love it.
yeah, especially when people die.everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do0 -

It is special. One of my main issues with front row was some simpleton with a low number brings their husband who is not a fan. There should be some way to get the right people up there and not a random way. I would gladly be the person who allots the first 2 rows

Little bit of a harsh reaction dont you think?
Dont use someone else's loss of live to win some kind of "debate", please.
Pretty insensitive to say such a thing on here
Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?0 -

As someone who saw the coverage and the video of eds face from that day and was there for alot of 2000 shows it is very offensive. There was a very sad crazy month when no one knew what would happen. You are lucky the band played on and here you are on thier forum allowed to express your opinions.0 -
seats are the best,,no worries about being knocked around by frat boys and dopes0

I agree with what you said btw!Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?0 -
If I ever get front row I hope I will rock out. I always do when I'm in my usual 10club location seats which are somewhat back. But I'm afraid I'll stand there staring like a deer in the headlights not being able to believe where I am!
And If I get front row, I hope it is not on the one night that I have to leave the show a few minutes early! (I have no choice - must be back upstate before 8am to see my daughter's performance and can't miss a bus)R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

i was in the second row in Tampa, and our row, in addition to the front row, rocked. People were really into it, dancing around singing, hopping up and down, and just rocking out, even when Kings of Leon played.West Palm 2000 I & II/West Palm '03/Tampa '03/Kissimmee '04/Vic Theater '07/West Palm '08/Tampa '08/NYC MSG I & II '08/Philly Spectrum III & IV '09/Cleveland '10/Bristow '10/PJ20 I & II 2011/Pensacola '12/Pittsburgh '13/Denver '140
