Life is in Session- friggin enjoy it. It'll be over before you know it.

    Cheers

Maybe they should start doing things correctly and communicating. Then people wouldn't be miserable. It's not the complainers fault.

Exactly! The customer is always right. It looks like the Super DeLuxe box set will only be available from pearljam.com and sony international (according to pj's facebook page, an forum member's post of an e-mail answer he received from Ten Club and an e-mail answer I got from the local sony music).

What scares me though is the post by another forum member and this is eladrion75's reply from Ten Club:

"As far as we know this is a Ten Club & Sony International Exclusive – we do not have information if it will be available elsewhere in the future.

    Best Regards,
    10c"

I really think that the people working for Ten Club and Sony Music International should make some phone-calls and exchange some e-mails and then and give a TRUE announcement if it will be or it will not be available in retail stores internationally and from the online stores! It would be nice if Ten Club would e-mail this announcement/clarification to all fan-club members. Thank you.

Has there been any word on how limited the limited edition is? Thanks for any info.

This would be good to know. I haven't been able to order one yet, but I don't want to miss out.

It looks like the bonus tracks will only be on the CDs and not on the LPs ... am I reading that correctly?

I would imagine that would be the case as you can't fint as much on an LP as you can a CD.

How come Vitalogy is double LP when the original pressing was just one LP?

I believe it has the extra tracks on it. Which would make it a bit longer

  • In regards to the double lp, it could either be a case of the bonus tracks being on the vinyl or the vinyl being pressed in a heavier weight, decreasing the amount of available space for the music.

If you look carefully at the wording in the first post of this thread it appears that only the CDs have the bonus tracks on them. The LPs appear to be remastered but without additional tracks.

I saw that but I'm still wondering why Vitalogy would be a double LP.

Ah, yes. I see what you all mean. It would be odd to have Vitalogy re-pressed as one of those remastered doubles playing at 45rpm & not the same treatment for Vs. Strange.... guess we'll have to wait & see.

  • I think that before I go ahead with this I need to know that I'll not pay any additional fees on the super deluxe set:

    Subtotal £105.00 GBP
    VAT/Duties £25.93 GBP
    Estimated Shipping/Handling £24.67 GBP
    Total £155.60 GBP

The above seems to suggest that the VAT & duties are included via the international ordering page. If this is the case then the packaging is a lot more attractive.

Can someone from 10c confirm we'll not pay any more VAT & duties on arrival?

You shouldn't do as it was confirmed that the box was shipped from a European warehouse. Though you never know....

I believe that the VAT's are correct. If they don't match your countries VAT, then e-mail Sony International. And I also suggest you have to e-mail sony international and not Ten Club to get an answer to your question (you live in the UK, right?).

With the Ten - Super Deluxe we were forced to pay some ridiculous "courier handling fees" or whatever they were called to DHL. I wonder if it will happen this time, too. As the box is more expensive this time (and as we pay almost 30€ for shipping) I hope that the shipping fee we pay includes everything (also the courier fee).

  • Ive just received my two copies of the Live On Ten Legs in vinyl(both sealed) all the way from the 10c and didnt pay any tax etc etc,and the postie pulled em out of his post bag,not delivered via van, which is most unusual, anyhow thanks 10c.
on the down side I have tried to order the Vs/Vit superdeluxe set and have been told that I live in a country that 10c will not post this to so bollox! I am in constant contact with Tim at What Records to see if he knows any further info on this release, hopefully he will be able to get a few copies-lets hope so.

the Live on Ten Legs deluxe edition and the Ten reissue collector's edition are both on amazon now.
I'm really hoping the Super Deluxe Vs/Vitalogy will be too..

Sounds like a plan, cos I'm tempted to let this run until release & then get it from 10c as a regular purchase, or see if it makes it's way to HMV or Amazon.

    Thanks for your reply.

    We are stoked!!!!!

Just think for a second - PJ left shows like the Fox Theater - 4/3/94 show off the VS/Vitalogy Super Deluxe set.

That particular Atlanta show is right up there with the Orpheum Theater show, if not better.

We are sure the guys had a tough time deciding as to which show to choose from back in 1994 to put on the Super Deluxe set.
    8/25/98 - Pittsburgh
    5/20/06 - Cleveland
    6/23/06 - Pittsburgh
    6/22/08 - Washington DC
    5/06/10 - Columbus
    7/02/11 - Soundgarden Toronto
    9/11/11 - Toronto
    9/12/11 - Toronto
    5/12/13 - Soundgarden Pittsburgh
    10/11/13 - Pittsburgh
    7/27/14 - Soundgarden Toronto
11/04/16 - Temple of the Dog - Upper Darby, PA
  • Was all set to place my order when I realised they want to charge $73 for postage and handling!!!!

Just cant justify over $240 dollars at the moment. :(

Just found out the Super Deluxe will be available in shops (in Australia at least) but will retail for around/over $400

    $250 sounds almost reasonable now

I just pre-ordered the "Premium Product" (and that is the Super DeLuxe Box Set)!!!! And the waiting will be a bit easier as I know that I can listen to Radiohead's new album in two days and R.E.M. new album on March 8th and before that LOXL... At the moment I'm listening to Eddie's 2008 April Fools Tour...

There was a thread about that about a week ago. It happened to me too, but recently the charge has been reinstated.
