    I reserved my 2 rooms at Alpine Valley Resort and they don't know anything about the concert. I didn't want to take any chances though. Just to let everyone know, all of the concert suites(2BR, 2 Bath) are all booked for Labor Day weekend. I just reserved 2 adjoining rooms.

    I hope its on Labor Day weekend because of the long weekend.

    It's worth it. There is only a $25 cancellation fee(might be per night) if you cancel 2 weeks in advance. It was a no brainer for me. I will gladly lost that $75(split between 4 of us) if it happens to not be on Labor Day weekend.

    alpine didn't say anything to me about a cancellation fee. Just that a 72 hour notice is required and if you don't show up they will charge you for one night.

    addition-the only hint we've been given about dates is 'end of summer'. Labor Dayy weekend is the unofficial end of summer. woooooo!

    They didn't tell me either. My wife said she saw it on the website. she noticed it when she originally tried to book online, but you can't that far in advance.

    well the young girl that worked last night told me what i reported. she also said the online info isnt accurate and the new rates will be mailed to you in march if you booked. i bet the person working today is a different person and by now they are probably saying to tell people they have no clue. she also said she didnt know if the 25 cancellation fee was right for concert nights either. who knows... solid info should come soon i hope....

    No doubt. They are as confused as we are. Either way, it's so worth it knowing we have rooms close by if the event is on that day and if it's not, I will gladly pay the fees. In the end, the positives far out weigh the negatives at this point.
