Is there a way to make this trip without a car? My wheels are kind of on life support at this point. . .

i think i heard about that... you have to book it pretty far in advance, right?
definitely better than $80-100 for amtrak!!

I don't know I saw the ad on the subway over the weekend. But I'd definitely consider it over taking the train (NJ Transit to SEPTA way for me).

There is also NJTransit from Penn Station to Trenton and then SEPTA from Trenton to 30th Street in Philly and then you can take a train or ferry over to Camden. You might be able to cut out the trip to 30th street and take the riverline to Camden if there is a stop for it and the SEPTA train from Trenton (but I'm not sure).

Problem is, that the last bus leaves at 9:30 PM... at least that's what I saw.

Gotta watch the times with that though... they dont run very late at night and if you miss your bus youre stuck in the city until the morning. Plus, the bus drops you off at 30th street in Philly, so you'd still have to catch a ride across Philly then hop on the ferry.

I do remember walking to the Ferry while they were playing Yellow Ledbetter... Might have made for a funny video, people rushing to get the Ferry while Yellow Ledbetter is playing.

Last time I took NJ Transit train to somewhere, and the some other sort of train/bus thing. Dropped me right off at the venue. (sorry not much help I know, but it is possible).

Luckily this time I will be traveling by car.

I'm training back to Hamilton Station on the 26th. My car will be parked there. It's a PT Cruiser, so not a huge, roomy vehicle , but if anyone wants a lift , I'll be happy to run you to your Philly or Jersey hotel. We'd just have to coordinate meeting time in Hamilton. Perhaps this may cut a few $ from someones cost.

I'm getting pretty concerned about making these shows. : (

It seems their really isn't an easy way to get from NYC to Camden. Greyhound return trips aren't until the next morning, NJ Transit runs, but the Riverline can't take me back to the station past 10 pm. MegaBus stops running as well. Ferry's back to Philly, same deal. Not to mention having never done this before, it seems pretty risky that I might end up homeless after the show.

And I have to try and do this two straight nights!

Yikes, I might have to rent a car, or ::GASP::, miss the shows.

Is their any avenue I have not persued? I am usually pretty good finding my way around mass transit, but this venue just doesn't seem to be all that accomodating.

Easier said than done! How can I get to the Amtrak station after the show? Seems like their are plenty of ways to get to the amphitheater, but none of them are available after the venue lets out. What sense does this make!?

That makes 3 of us, im sure we can all find a way to the show from nyc, but getting back to the city after the show seems impossible. Ive never been to this venue either so I wont have a clue what to do after the show. This sux!

The ferry runs back to Philly after the show but I'm not sure how long SEPTA runs to get you either to 30th St station or onto NJTransit back across the river.
