how about a vegas week? could play like 3 or 4 shows at mgm, then 3 or 4 at mandalay bay or thomas and mack??????? alot of tourists in vegas, i bet pj would sell out 7 straight shows or more

dunno, see it being more a thing for the fans than selling as many shows as possible.

    yeah. for shiz. :)

Next April Fools Day, 6 days out from my wish,

I have been a lurker on these boards for a while, but finally joined the 10 club. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Nate, my wife and I are big Pearl Jam fans. We had the treat of attending our first Pearl Jam concert together 2009 in Salt Lake. Going to a Pearl Jam show had been a dream of mine that eluded me ever since I was 15. I was close so many times, but due to moving, and such never got to go.

Fast forward to present, my wife and I are looking forward to this summer and the weekend thingie. This year in general is a great one to be a Pearl Jam fan. Events, releases and goodies galore!

I look forward to becoming a regular on the boards and hope you guys are as excited as I am for this coming year.

Hi! Nice to see you, Nate! I had to reply to this post just because I was in shock that you had only seen PJ once in 2009. Wat in the world??? It was much easier to see them back in the dizay (lol) when they were all out and about so frequently...No doubt you loved that show, and I am glad that you finally got to see them live...they totally kick ass, Always! I hate it for you that this experience eluded you since you were 15 but so glad you finally did it. :) And, yeah, you can be totally sure that everyone on this board is excited about this year!! FOR SHIZ!! :D p.s. took you long enough. :)

    Yeah,

I was 15 when they boycotted ticketmaster and didn't get tickets that time around when I was in Washington DC (1995), and I doubt the parents would have let me go anyway because I had to cajole them 2 years later in 1997 to let me go see Metallica. Pearl Jam skipped DC in 1996. In 1997 I moved to Northern Utah, but was out of country (in Mexico) starting Summer 1998, so I missed the Wolf Mountain show in Park City. That was the last time they came to Utah until 2009. I got married in 2001, while going to college so traveling to a show, or even affording a Ten Club membership was somewhat out of the question.

But, here we are, in 2011. I hope to attend the summer thingie, it will be our, my wife and I, anniversary trip. Ten years of marriage and 20 years of Pearl Jam, and as I mentioned, I couldn't be more excited. Hope I didn't bore you with the narrative, but it really was the unfulfilled dream for me to go to my first Pearl Jam show, and I wanted to express what it means to me.

Also, thank you for the warm welcome.

No, it wasn't broing at all...and it all makes sense as to why you have missed the opportunity...no judgment here, but it's a sense of sympathy because they're so fkng great in concert man, it's too bad that you have missed it.......there is NOTHING like it.....and even though they boycotted ticketmaster, I stood in line to get tickets (that was back in the day when you stood in line at 6 am to get tickets), it was always so awesome....I'm glad you're here, and I hope that you can be with us (hopefully I will be there) during this festival.....

I am very excited for this 20th Anniversary! LOTL, All of the new re-releases and exciting new 10C features - Gonna be a great year for us PJ fans!
My only wish from 10C is that the Late Summer festival dates - i only need the dates!- are announced soon. I work in an industry where time off in Summer is at a premium, and only certain amounts of people can be off at a time. Especially living in the Seattle area, when everyone wants to be on vacation in August and September! Please give us time to plan!
Otherwise, big thanks to the band, Tim and all of the 10C staff for this sure to be amazing year!

    Peace,
    Matt
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....
