Who's still got their original Vs. cd?
the one not in the jewel case but in the tri-folding cardboard case?
I just dug mine out, it's only of the only CDs I have left these days, I've been trending more digital as the years go on.
it was the first CD I ever bought!

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-120 -

I don't recall the cardboard one being available here in Canada on release (allthough I did se a used copy once).
Either way I think I'm on my 2nd Vs. CD. The original one I had got worn out (I don't think i was too careful with my cd's back in the day, it got so badly scratched that immortality would skip).
now its a moot point, because the last time it got used was to rip it to FLAC. Now I just use my Cowon S9 player to listen to tunes (or spin the vinyl if i'm home).0 -
I have one0

My ex-wife has the original "10" CD and I've still got my original U2 "Live Under a Blood Red Sky" CD from 1983. She probably has VS and Vitalogy, too... alas!

got one that is used (and abused). and one that's still sealed! ECO-PAK baby!
that's where it all REALLY started for me. love how when you fold it out it's all orange inside and all B&W on outside. such awesome packaging.
and then after that we got hit with Vitalogy. and then No Code. and then Yield. come on, it don't get any better than that run...0 -
still have my no title original...i couldn't make it home fast enough from the music store so I could listen to it over and over again..Show #13 was a lucky one for me....0

Never seen that Vs cardboard available here @ Sam The Record Man or any Music World stores the day of release or the months to follow here in Halifax. I bought the CD, vinyl & cassette. I totally worn out the tape listening to & from school.
The CD wasn't titled Vs. Months before reading Hit Paradar it was titled Five Against One. A month after the release, I receive the latest Columbia House catalog in the mail. On the new Pearl Jam album it was printed Vs. on the CD, the cover, the back cover etc.. I had to pick it up. And low & behold Vs. was printed all over it.
Then a few months later I head over to my local Taz Records and find this Five Against One bootleg CD. Which includes demos from the record.

immortality would skip on your scratched version of vs?

Sadly, I didn't know Vs. was released until just after Vitalogy. But I still have my original Vs. disc, not sure where the case is located, lost a lot of jewel cases over the years from moving and keeping cds in a cd booklet.0
