    So, first off I have to say I am going to buy this...as I'm a sucker for almost anything Pearl jam sells...however, I don't get the $150 for the deluxe.

    The vinyls alone are 20, and CD's 10.

    So that comes out to be 60 for the 3 Vinyls, and 30 for the CDs, which is $90

    So that means we are spending $60 on the cassette, booklet and box. which I will admit it looks pretty bad ass and will look great next to the TEN Box set. But is it just me or does that seem a bit much?

    Edit: Sorry forgot to add in the live CD, I already included the Live Vinyl in the 60
    There's 4 vinyls

    Well I meant sets..
    VS = $20
    Vitalogy = $20 (2 Vinyls)
    Live = I'm guestimated it would be $20 ( 2 Vinyls)

    Just like DIP with the Ten SDE the vinyl for the Orpheum show will only be avilable in the SDE. The vinyl of the live show is really the underlying value in the SDE.

    This is the assumption I've made. Both are 3x CD sets (Vs/Vitalogy/Orpheum) - so unless there's limited edition Ten Club -only packaging of some sort, I'm pretty sure they'll be identical.

    you sure? The price difference between 10c and amazon is over $120.00!

    Actually the price for VS is $20 plus a fixed $10.50 to ship (meaning no shipping discounts, so it's actually $30.50). Then Vitalogy is 2 LPS and is $25 with 12.50 fixed shipping (37.50). And the Orpheum is also 2 LPs so it would be $37.50 as well (if available individually which it's not). Throw in the $30 deluxe cd set with the albums and show (7.50 s/h). Now your grand total is $143.

    So you're only paying $24.50 extra (in the US) for the book, cassette, misc. goodies, and 6 downloaded live tracks. Well worth it to me. I just have to wait a week or two before I can order it.

    I think you're mistaken - we're comparing the 3xCD sets available from 10C and Amazon here, not the Super Deluxe box!

    These are reissues...they will never draw the same "limited" value that say a Solider Field Vinyl or Benaroya Hall would. That's pretty obvious.

    I think they owe it to us to further clarify what "parts" of this show they are including in the Orpheum show...does anyone have an actual answer on this?

    Vs is my favorite PJ album, but without any video footage from either eras, I can't justify dropping $170.

    I can either buy this, or spend a great night rocking out to the best band in the world and have memories that will last a lifetime. Hmm, I'll choose the latter ;)

    God I hope they don't wait to give us tour dates until these hit the shelves!
  • I wonder what happens to the people who pre-ordered from amazon thinking that the deluxe box that was advertised was the full version. Does amazon allow cancellations on pre-orders?

    As long as they haven't prepared it for shipment yet. Which means you have almost 2 months to cancel.

    Well that is saying 10C is charging extra because it would cost $60 in shipping if you buy them individually, which doesn't sound right. But yes, I do see if we buy them individually that is would cost the end user about the same price. And yes I know the Orpheum is added to only the Deluxe version, which is a nice addition. All I was saying is the price seems a little high..that's all.

    Incomplete Orpheum show doesn't bother me too much cuz well I've got a boot of the complete show plus a dvd copy of it :) I would however like to know why it's incomplete....
