8-) I think everyone will be hurting $$ wise but the Memories will last for ever. With the help of pictures  Every Penny spent will be so worth it.
Can't wait. When will they tell us where the H#&% this Bash will be
. Weekend bash Here I come. Rain, Sun, Snow storm, tornadoes. Bring it on. It won't stop me. It'll just make the stories & memories better.
I wish Alberta would be considered middle of country. HMMM. Boonstock weekend bash is Canada Day- July long weekend.. Sure hope PJ doesn't plan for the same weekend. I'd pass up Boonstock ANYDAY for Pearl Jam. But Boonstock has such an awesome atmosphere. Party all weekend DAY & NIGHT. Anyone in Central Alberta at end of June :?: Should Definately look into stopping by Boonstock Party Grounds, at least for the Day. It is such an Awesome party. Fun just to people watch..Check it out http://www.boonstock.ca/
Anyhow Chow For Now. Hope everyone has an AWESOME Friday

I wanted to spend my next birthday in VEGAS.
I wanted to cellabrate my 40th birthday being amongst a Pearl Jam concert.
ANYWHERE in the world. ( or any surrounding Countries for that matter 8-) .............
" I'm gunna do THAT!" I said, but I was young and stupid, and I was broke.
YET!!
All these years later, I have wished for no less
.
AND I'm still broke,
but!....
Next April Fools Day, 6 days out from my wish,
Ed will hold preformances in MY capital City in MY Country.
PHEW! I could never had afforded to travel.... :?
It's funny how stuff ends / starts up.

Happy Anniversary Everyone

I have been a lurker on these boards for a while, but finally joined the 10 club. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Nate, my wife and I are big Pearl Jam fans. We had the treat of attending our first Pearl Jam concert together 2009 in Salt Lake. Going to a Pearl Jam show had been a dream of mine that eluded me ever since I was 15. I was close so many times, but due to moving, and such never got to go.
Fast forward to present, my wife and I are looking forward to this summer and the weekend thingie. This year in general is a great one to be a Pearl Jam fan. Events, releases and goodies galore!
I look forward to becoming a regular on the boards and hope you guys are as excited as I am for this coming year.Salt Lake City, Utah - Sept 28, 2009

Hi! Nice to see you, Nate! I had to reply to this post just because I was in shock that you had only seen PJ once in 2009. Wat in the world??? It was much easier to see them back in the dizay (lol) when they were all out and about so frequently...No doubt you loved that show, and I am glad that you finally got to see them live...they totally kick ass, Always! I hate it for you that this experience eluded you since you were 15 but so glad you finally did it.
And, yeah, you can be totally sure that everyone on this board is excited about this year!! FOR SHIZ!!
p.s. took you long enough.

Yeah,
I was 15 when they boycotted ticketmaster and didn't get tickets that time around when I was in Washington DC (1995), and I doubt the parents would have let me go anyway because I had to cajole them 2 years later in 1997 to let me go see Metallica. Pearl Jam skipped DC in 1996. In 1997 I moved to Northern Utah, but was out of country (in Mexico) starting Summer 1998, so I missed the Wolf Mountain show in Park City. That was the last time they came to Utah until 2009. I got married in 2001, while going to college so traveling to a show, or even affording a Ten Club membership was somewhat out of the question.
But, here we are, in 2011. I hope to attend the summer thingie, it will be our, my wife and I, anniversary trip. Ten years of marriage and 20 years of Pearl Jam, and as I mentioned, I couldn't be more excited. Hope I didn't bore you with the narrative, but it really was the unfulfilled dream for me to go to my first Pearl Jam show, and I wanted to express what it means to me.
Also, thank you for the warm welcome.Salt Lake City, Utah - Sept 28, 2009

No, it wasn't broing at all...and it all makes sense as to why you have missed the opportunity...no judgment here, but it's a sense of sympathy because they're so fkng great in concert man, it's too bad that you have missed it.......there is NOTHING like it.....and even though they boycotted ticketmaster, I stood in line to get tickets (that was back in the day when you stood in line at 6 am to get tickets), it was always so awesome....I'm glad you're here, and I hope that you can be with us (hopefully I will be there) during this festival.....0
