Are cameras not allowed in period? Just curious I was hopin to snap a few shots of the venue before. Is there a pat down at the door?

from what I've heard the security does not check you- if you want to take a pic of the venue, I seriously doubt anyone will stop you. Someone else said that if people were taking pics during the show, the ushers would ask the person to put the camera away.

So basically, you should be alright

Hopefully this is the case. Just want to make sure. Anyone to back this up?

the guy in front of me Saturday in Boston (he was front row) was taking pictures all night....I am positive Ed saw him and at the end of the show, gave him a smile...He even "rocked out" in front of us. I though he was gonna be pissed....cool. An usher asked him to put it away before the show started, but he was shooting all night once the lights went down.
I would suggest turning of the friggin flash though....kind of distracting given the ambiance and not to mention, unnecessary.
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

Does anyone know if the venue in NYC has a coat check, or something along those lines? So if they do search for cameras, there is a place to store it during the show?
